SHELLS CITY ━ FIVE YEARS LATER ▰

Celestia Crawford, the teen that had moved homes more times than she could count had, had finally got a place to herself in Shells City. Her father had gifted it to her as of that day since she was turning nineteen.

Currently finishing her unpacking at her new home as she was happy with it. Especially knowing that it was the first home her parents had bought and moved into together. Enjoying the little backstory that came with the place.

Her back coming into contact with her mattress aa she laid her arms out. Exhausted from all the unpacking the past few days yet excited as she flipped onto her stomach and pulling her phone out.

Sending a message to her parents first that she was done with everything involving her moving in before looking through her contacts as she found who she was looking for. Calling that person instead of sending a message.

"Hello?" The person on the other line asked once they answered the call.

"Nami!" Celestia beamed into the phone.

"Celestia! What can I help you with?" She asked.

"I was going to ask if you wanted to hang out and go for drinks. That is if you're still up for it."

"A girl's night out?"

"Yes. For my birthday today. What do you say?"

"I'm in. Can I bring a friend?" Nami asked.

"Is it who I think it is?"

"Maybe.."

"He's listening to the call right now, isn't he?"

"When isn't he?" Nami sighed.

"Yes. You can tag along Sanji. As long as you behave yourself tonight and avoid drinking so much."

"Yes! Don't worry about it my Celestia. I will not be doing anything out of line!" Sanji Vinsmoke, a friend of the two girls, responded to her immediately after taking the phone away from Nami's hands.

"Give me my phone back!" Nami shouted in the background.

"No! Celestia is talking to me now!"

"Get your phone fixed to annoy her!"

Celestia was used to hearing the two of them bickering like usual as she giggled. "I'll see you two later. Don't be late." She spoke up to be heard by them.

Nami managed to grab the phone back from the male as she huffed. "Right. Wear that dress we got last week. I'm sure you'll be found by your mystery man tonight."

"Q-quit teasing me about it, will you?" Celestia huffed. Feeling her cheeks turned red and warm. Laying her chin on her pillow.

"I can't help it but I'm serious. Maybe you'll find him today. It has been five years after all."

"I don't know." Celestia sighed. Hearing Nami kicking Sanji out of her room before closing the door so he wouldn't barge in again.

"Come on. At least tell me his name."

"N-no way. You'd probably find him and lead him to me. I have remained uncaught for years."

"What if he never finds you? Will you really stay single for the rest of your life? Or what if he forgot?"

"Nooo! Don't let me hear that." Celestia groaned as she buried her face into her pillow.

Nami chuckled hearing her and muffled groan. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again." She spoke as she listened. "But you should at least have some fun tonight, got it?"

"Yes, mom. I will be having fun tonight." She replied as she flipped onto her back. "Just don't be late."

"Yes, ma'am." Nami smiled as she listened. "I'll go get ready now. See you there at eight, alright?"

"Got it. See you there." Celestia agreed as she sat up on her bed. Hearing a rustling sound outside of her window as she glanced over. Hanging up the phone and setting it down as she took a peak.

There was not much to see since her room was on the second floor beside a tree. Locking her balcony doors after finding nothing. Walking back to her bed as she picked up her phone. Playing her music as she set her phone on the nightstand to the right of her bed.

Heading for her closet as she opened it. Skimming through her clothes as she found the dress that Nami had been talking about. Glancing at it before pulling it out and walking back to her bed. Setting it down as she got ready to change.

Lifting her shirt up slightly before feeling a bit uneasy. Like someone had been watching her as she walked to her windows and balcony doors. Closing the blinds as she no longer felt that small feeling of eyes on her.

Changing into a black long dress that had a slit from the bottom of the dress to the middle of her thigh. The chest area had a bit of a deep v with an x across it. Showing a bit more than she usually would. Fixing the spaghetti straps on her shoulders as she let the second straps against her arm.

She let her hair down as she liked her naturally wavy locks. Running her hand through them as she fixed it before grabbing her bag and putting her things inside. Making sure she didn't forget anything she might need. Turning all the lights off as she was soon on her way.

Celestia had arrived at the bar first. Choosing a table for the three of them as she sat down and waited for Sanji and Nami to arrive. Glancing at her watch as she ordered her first drink.

Her eyes scanned the bar as she didn't have much to do other than observe those around her. Feeling a bit jealous when she noticed most of them were couples having fun.

Though she wouldn't admit it, she wanted to have her own boyfriend. Thinking about the boy in her past. A bit fearful she would forget the way he sounded. His unreplaceable green hair. Eyes as dark as obsidian.

In her train of thoughts she thought she saw locks of a familiar green color amongst the people there. Rubbing her eyes as she thought she was imagining things. Skimming past the spot where she had seen it. Finding no one with green here as she huffed.

Aware that she was being watched but passed that off as being in a bar with people who were possibly doing the same that she was doing. Leaning her cheek into her palm as she glanced down at her drink.

Gently grabbing the glass before drinking it. Finishing it in one go before setting the glass down. Ordering another one just to pass time. Skimming the room once more before feeling a pair of hands cover her eyes as she was startled out of her thoughts.

"Found you.." A deep voice spoke.

Celestia could feel the presence of someone close to her ear. Wanting to believe that maybe she had finally been found. Feeling her heart racing as she reached up to the hands covering her sight.

Holding the hands of who was behind her as she wanted to see who it was but at the same time she didn't want to turn. Eventually pulling the hands away and turning to see the person.

Sanji grinned when she did. "Got you!"

Celestia was shocked to say the least. "You jerks!" She spoke up as she shoved him away from her.

"Sorry. I warned him not to do that but he thought it would be funny."

Celestia crossed her arms. "I don't know who you're talking about."

"What?! No! Don't ignore me. Please. I'll buy you as many drinks as you want tonight. All on me."

Celestia perked up at the offer he was setting for her. Thinking about it before agreeing. "Fine. Drinks on the house thanks to Sanji." She smiled at the blonde and ginger.

Sanji beamed as he hugged her immediately before wishing her a happy birthday.
