~The Missing Teammate~(Team Minato + Masaru x Reader)

Part 7~ Lonely night

Your eyes start to tear and your vision becomes blurred. 'This is not cool! It's night and everyone's asleep!! Where will I stay?!' You're extremely worried and sick in the stomach but you soon realise you should go on a walk to clear your mind and calm down a bit.

You stroll through the silent village, the only thing you could hear was the calm breeze gently howling in your ears. There was no one in sight, you figured everyone must be asleep by now. The moon gleams brightly in the inky sky as flickering stars scatter in the darkness. You let out a sigh, wondering what to do next while you continue to walk through the dark village.

You look around the quiet village and still see no one. 'what will I do?!' You take a deep breath and calm yourself 'there's no use in worrying, it's not gonna do anyone any good. I'll just continue to stroll around and hopefully something good happens...' you continue to stroll around the moonlit village, your heartbeat escalating when you spot a mysterious figure wandering around. Your eyes are still blurry and the darkness surrounds you like mist.

You thought you were alone and everyone else was asleep. Adrenaline rushes through your body when you notice the mysterious figure moving closer towards you. 'A Kidnapper?!' You run as fast as your legs can take you before hiding behind a corner and taking a moment to catch your breath. you dart your back in fear, expecting to see someone behind you. Relief washes over you like a refreshing wave when you realise no one's there. 'Of course no one's there, I was extremely fast and I took so many turns, they would've lost me easily.'

When you look forward again, you scream at the top of your lungs in terror as you notice the mysterious figure in front of you. The person looks down at you with a calm and neutral expression with a grin and their hands in their pockets as they let out a chuckle. "You look really scared, you know I'm not going to hurt you, right?" You sigh in relief when you realise it was just Masaru.

You chuckle nervously. "Y- yeah" you reply, still a little taken aback. Suddenly you notice Obito sneaking up from behind Masaru with a grin. You were surprised but you couldn't say anything like 'oh, hi Obito!' Because he was putting up all sorts of hand gestures, trying to tell you not to tell Masaru.

He must've been trying to scare Masaru because he was grinning widely. You were slightly worried for Masaru because you could see how much he had his guard down which wasn't like him at all. You didn't have to be worried anymore though because as soon as you and Masaru started to speak, Obito completely forgot about everything.

"Well, the reason I followed you here was because I saw you were alone and I was a bit scared for you." he explains "are you alright?..." you nod hesitantly. "Yeah, I don't really have a place to stay though because-" "You can stay at Masaru's place!" Obito yelled excitedly from behind him, making Masaru squeal like a 5 year old girl as he jumps in shock and fear. You and Obito burst into laughter, you try to hold it in as much as you could but it was no use. Masaru looks down in embarrassment, his blush lighting up his face like a lantern.

"Anyways, you can stay at our place!" Obito confidently volunteers making you tilt your head in confusion. "Your place? Do you live in the same house?..." you question, curiosity hiding in your voice. "No! No, we don't! But we're having a sleepover tonight since Masaru lives alone and Minato sensei said I should accompany him." Obito explains making you sweat drop. 'Them? In the same house? What did Minato bribe them with?...'

"As much as I hate it, Kushina made it very loud and clear to obey Minato-sensei's orders." Masaru admits while clenching his fist in annoyance. "Who's Kushina?" You ask them. "A really scary woman." Obito and Masaru say at the same time, making them yell at each other something about 'Jinx' or something like that... 

Kakashi: "did you guys *really* have to play that game at the end?"

Obito and Masaru: "he started it! No you did! Ughhhhh!" *in sync*

Y/n: *sigh*

Minato: "here we go again.."

Kakashi: "this feels weird- it's like two Obito's"

Obito: "I bet that feels good, doesn't it?!"

Masaru: "hey, why am I the one who acts like him?! He's the one who's acting like me!"

Obito: "what?! No!"

Masaru: "I can't blame you, I'm amazing, of course you'd be so obsessed with me that you'd want to act like me~"

Obito: "what?! Cut it out, idiot!"

Both: *bickering*

Y/n and Rin: *sigh*

Haruko: "hn, annoying, reminds me of Kaito..." *takes a bite from her lemon*

Y/n: "when did you get here, Haruko?"

Haruko: *shrugs and eats her lemon*

Kaito: "I'm not annoying!"
