chapter 20 : confession

Days progressed quickly. Yibo began his chase from the day they met and had no intention of stopping. He made sure that everyone knows who is chasing Zhan , so they'll think twice if they wanted to look at zhan.

Yibo also took over the large Wang Co. by himself. In the beginning of taking over the position, Yibo was insanely busy , so busy that he himself felt annoyed that he couldn't meet up with his zhanzhan. Later , when everything settled down he began to chase Zhan with full speed.

The Wang couple in the old mansion eventually came to know about this. They called Yibo to have a heart to heart talk. They wanted the good for their kids. But the couple love both zhan and Yibo intensely. They are very open minded as expected. Their mother's homeland, XX country had plenty of homosexual couple and naturally she was open minded as well.

Though the old man looked gloomy , he didn't object after Yibo plead to him while kneeling. In the end Yibo got a hug from his mother and a glare from Yixin , his little sister that grew up with Zhan's care but not his. He felt that this little sister of his is very resentful of him , he didn't know why. But she also kind of fears him and that's why didn't come at him to claw at his face.

She only hmphed and said , "stay away from my gege."

Yibo went to pinch her cheeks, "Why would I? He's your gege but he is also my xiao di."

"Gege loves me the most. More than you." Yixin said , not liking Yibo's action at all.

"Heh , don't cry later when your gege says he loves me more."

"That will never happen." Yixin said lifting her chin.

Yibo had the urge to mess up her tidy hair into a mess for her cheekiness. In the end, their mother came forward to break their argument with a laugh. Before he left that day, he heard his mother , Lisa say to him, "Don't hurt him, son. He is a soft and kind hearted boy and I don't want to lose him."

Yibo gave her a bright smile, "I know mom. I'll never ever hurt him and love him with my all. You will never lose him."

Lisa nodded with a smile and waved him goodbye. They persuaded Yibo to stay here with them tonight  but the boy didn't listen. He said that he had some plans tonight and it by no means is possible to spend the night here.

What yibo did that night?

He prepared to confess once again. After so many months of sending roses to Zhan's company, gifting him various things , showering him with affection,, yibo felt it's time to confess. As time passed by , Zhan's attitude towards him also became mild. Yibo knew he started to accept him.

As for why he left that year all of a sudden, its because of the brawl from that night. He felt incompetent and thought,  being like that he couldn't protect zhan at all. He also realised his feelings for the other causing him to feel confused. He needed a break , to grow and understand. And the time extended to ten years unknowingly.

Zhan came back late that night, he opened the door with the password and the door clicked open. Inside was darkness. Zhan  took off his shows while feeling confused. Did yibo not return tonight? Most of the time, though busy , yibo would always try to come before him only to welcome him home with a kiss.

Zhan didn't get to turn on the lights since the lights came on their own. The lights resembled hazy candlelight. Yibo, who never learned music, right now, was sitting on the middle of the large room with a large piano. His lands sliding over the keys as the tune went on, it felt very pleasant to the ear. The piece Yibo was playing is a romantic piece and it's very hard to play.

Zhan stood frozen on the spot as he stared at the shining figure on the middle. He felt a little emotional. He slowly approached the figure and sat down beside him, putting his hands on the piano keys as well.

The song is miraculous. A famous figure in the history wrote this song in order to confess to his lover. But that lover felt powerless against her family. She only responded with a piece full of sadness and heartbreak. She didn't get to send her reply to him at all, she committed suicide soon after, causing her lover to mourn forever. The song she wrong had a sad melody but hidden behind it was endless affection, gratefulness and reluctance. And this song was miraculous because his song and her lover's song , if put together resonated with each other perfectly.

Zhan's finger pressed the keys one after another syncing with Yibo's melody. Yibo's eyes lit up as he looked at the figure beside him, he affectionately kissed Zhan's forehead and continued the song until it ended.

During his stay in USA, he picked up this hobby of learning music, only because he knew zhan liked music. He chose to confess in the words of music and let Zhan decide for himself and now that he got the reply, his heart felt full of endless joy.

He saw zhan was still in a daze and hooked his hand behind the other's head and pulled him into a gentle kiss. He didn't let go until he felt the other was breathless.

He looked at the tear filled eyes of his lover as he gently said without breaking eye contact, "Moon only glows when kissed by the sun. You just happened to be my sun, zhanzhan."

Yibo vividly remember every words that zhan said in a muddled state that night before they parted. How he felt it was impossible to reach for the moon he desired the most. Yibo very much wanted to reply to zhan , you just have to stay still , maybe the moon is reaching for you too. Sadly , he didn't have the guts back then.

Zhan's tears finally dropped as he fell into Yibo's embrace. The feelings that he had suppressed throughout the years came rushing out right at the moment. He just couldn't stop his eyes from shedding tears. He hid his face on Yibo's chest. Yibo gently rubbed Zhan's soft black hair as his gaze fell on the round moon outside the French windows.

The moon tonight seems to be shining a bit too brightly and the  tall trees outside swaying from time to time as if dancing is the moonlight. He felt nothing but whole now. A smile bloomed on his handsome face when he heard a hush-like voice from within his embrace, "You are my moon , only mine."

"Yes."

That's just what he wants.
