Third Person's PoV

"No doubt," the girl in the black cloak grinned behind her black mask that is covering half of her face.

"Tsk. I'm getting bored in here," Clifford whined and gave the girl a knowing look.

The girl in black let out an evil laugh as she spoke, "let's play with them, shall we?"

"We shall," Clifford winked before summoning a gray smoke that vanished to thin air after citing a silent chant.

The gray smoke that he summoned is the invisible predator, commonly used by knights to lure wendigo, dryads, chimera, daimon and other creatures that tends to be harmful.

The invisible predator made its way toward the black golems and sliced it into two in just one hit. It didn't attract any attention at all since the attack is not that extreme but one of the chimeras saw it and automatically looked up the building where Clifford and the girl in black were watching with a smile crept into their faces.

The girl in black saw how the chimeras alerted the group and tried to fly just so they could enter the university gate but to no avail.

"The trance they made is strong just like a 50% replica of the original one that is made by the princess," the girl in black commented while looking intently at the entrance gate.

"The gate is almost ruined, it won't last long." Clifford whispered, just enough for his companion to hear. "Yet she's not here," he added.

Clifford was about to summon another invisible predator when he heard something. He stopped and so as the girl. "You heard that?" He asked. The girl nodded and shushed him.

"Your highness?" asked the girl, making Clifford's eyes widened.

"Shape shift..."  The princess whispered through telepathy.

"Right now?" Asked Clifford.

"Yes... And you, Clifford, stay where you are invisibly. You'll only act once the battle is not in our favor," the princess' cold voice echoed in their mind.

"Who would I copy, your highness?" The girl asked, and the princess' answer made the two of them stood in shock.

"Shit! Hindi ko mahanap si Iaxah at Clifford!" Naiinis na wika ni Lhyre.

Napatanga si Eric. "What? B— But..." bumaling siya kay Lia na kasalukuyang nag iipon ng itim na enerhiya para sa laban. "Lia, can you track them down?"

Nanghihinang umiling si Lia. "I tried kanina, pero nanghihina lang ako sa tuwing sinusubukan ko. Kahit si Knight Clifford, hindi ko rin mahagilap."

"What are we gonna do now? Anytime... Maaari na nilang masira ang gate." Namomroblemang wika ni Lhyre saka humarap kay Eric at Lia. "We should inform the alphas."

"But they're busy nga 'di ba? Nasa'n ba kasi sila headmaster?"

"Tsk. This is absurd. What should we do?" Nakahukipkip na tanong ni Eric.

"Wait for a miracle to happen?" said Lia sarcastically.

"Dang it! Is this final?" napalingon ang tatlo sa gawi ng hagdan patungo sa huling palapag bago ang rooftoop nang marinig ang maarteng boses na napaka pamilyar sa kanila.

Nagkatinginan silang tatlo bago muling ibalik ang tingin sa may hagdan. "Is that Iaxah?" Lia was the first to voice out their thoughts.

"Hundred percent yes," Lhyre murmured.
