"Do I need to stay so long waiting for Childe? Girl, if I stay even a minute longer fans might find me..." I yelled at the phone Amber, still trying to keep my coffee somehow until my boyfriend arrived.

"...He told me he was gonna come!"

"That's what he always says, I think you should find someone more responsible for their time like you." she said sarcastically, "I think you're better off without him"

"Is that what I am supposed to say to him? You know he is clingy and sends me a lot of gifts and is always late...but he's cute and hot. What else do I need?"

"How many times do I tell you that relationships are about understanding each other's differences and accepting them? I have NOT seen him even once helping you with anything except giving you gifts."

"So what? I don't think I wanna do it right now. Don't want drama in my life."

"Well, there will be more drama if you end up in a hot mess."

"What?"

"I am telling you, The moment you see another handsome guy you will pounce on the guy like a hungry hyena," she said chuckling

"OKAY, I'M DONE TALKING TO YOU. BYE.AND.STAY.IN.HELL"

I cut the phone call and stared at the coffee. I already drank the whole cup and I wanted more.

Man, I got to get this coffee addiction out of me, but I just can't say no to it. 

"Hey Girly!"

Finally the freak arrived. He sat on the chair next to me and quickly ordered a cappuccino and then presented me a bouquet of roses. I grumbled looking at the flowers but when he showed me a box containing a beautiful necklace ,I was really happy.

"I knew it would make you happy"

"It's Amazing! So, how's acting with Mona?"

"Well, it's somewhat alright. Whenever Mona and I have to perform romantic scenes or when I need to save her in battle, Scara constantly glares at me, often interrupting and instructing us to redo the acts."

"Well Mona is his girlfriend after all..." I said staring at the necklace's details. The diamonds on it sparkled with pride and glamor, but it didn't interest me so. I had plenty of the same at home and this was just another to my collection. I raised my eyes to find Childe gazing at me, and I returned his look with a bored and weary expression.

"Is something wrong with the necklace?"

"No, I just had a thought in my mind."

"Oh," he said, looking down and suddenly got up. "I should go now. My director only gave me some time to spare..." He gave me a peck on my cheek and smiled at my grumbling.

"Do you know you look adorable when your angry?" He let out a soft laugh and departed from the cafe, casting a quick glance over his shoulder to bid farewell before vanishing from sight entirely.

Is that all I get? Just a peck on the cheek and he's gone? I need to consider what Amber said.

I stood outside the cafe for a while, lost in thought. My brother always calls Childe self-absorbed, but should I listen to him? Even Xiao and now Amber have told me the same. What should I do? I see our relationship deteriorating but I don't want to break another man's heart, not now. I better just focus on the things coming up. 

I took out my phone and called Nahida "Hey Nahida! Hows the party preparations going?"

"It's going well! Thankyou for informing me of Ningguaan. She is handling all the prices of the party! It's truly amazing how efficient she is, ensuring that every little thing is managed properly."

"Well she knows how to make big and famous parties and this is very important, as it is helping in donating charities to all children hospitals in the world."

"I owe you a lot, Lumine. Is there something I could do for you?"

"Chiori is coming to the party, right? Can you share her number with me? I would love to have an outfit designed by her!"

"I will definitely inform her then..."

"Thankyou thankyou! Bye for now~"

"Bye!"

Finally something perfect and worthy coming soon...Better rest before the party...
