Alright- you made it, an Erasermic fanfiction that does not include the word kitten or oversexualizes Aizawa, no hate at that point, it's just not my cup of tea xD...now this first chapter is fully based on my ideas, so it's like a personal fanon and plays in the last week before the winter holidays after the Work-Study. I'll put a quick information in front of every chapter if it's fanon or canon, so that you know when you find something that does not happen in the manga :) enjoy and leave a comment!

There was something inside him, that died that day….
He couldn’t move but stare at the huge block of cement that had buried his friend under itself, as the rain was bashing down on him…on the ground. Tons of stone had smashed his body, and all he had wanted was to save the children. Slowly, blood started leaking from under the block, running over ashes and dust on the ground, mixing up with the rainwater. His pupils got even smaller and he felt how his breath was fast and unsteady. He was dead, and there was nothing he could do, even if he was able to lift the block, he would already be too late to save him…Aizawa blinked and shook his head. His vision cleared again and he got his orientation back. Around him, the students were still training. Just now, he realized that he hadn’t fallen back into his memories without a reason.
“Hey shiny idiot, get away from the-“, he shouted across the room but couldn’t finish his sentence, when the hologram, picturing a collapsing building buried Aoyama.
Aizawa stopped the hologram and grabbed the blond, pulling him from the ground.
“What were you thinking? Don’t you ever look around, just because this is a hologram it doesn’t mean you can take it with ease, or do you think that if a real building falls down on you I’m gonna be there to save you!”, he scolded and shook him through, still holding him by the back of his shirt.
“I-I I’m sorry!”, Aoyama stuttered, slightly panicking and trying to get out of Aizawa’s grip, who simply shook his head and let him fall back to the ground.
“You saw that your classmates were fighting and rushed away as the building collapsed.”
The blond muttered something inaudible and let his head hang low.In the meantime, the rest of the class had come together, surrounding Aizawa and Aoyama.
“Trust me, your ego won’t save you in a fight, I know what the fuck I’m talking about.”, he took a deep breath, “now get to cleaning the room, we have to be out of here in 20 minutes…”, the teacher announced and pushed both Midoriya and Kirishima aside to break through the circle of students.
Aoyama looked after him and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
“Zch…it was just once-“, he mumbled, trying to look unbeaten in front of his classmates.Aizawa pushed the doors of the training room open, almost slapping them in Present Mic’s face first, before running him over.
“Oi watch out!”, said man laughed and held his hands up in defense, but Aizawa ignored him, slurping back to the staff room.
Present Mic held the door open and looked through it right into the faces of a bunch of confused students. Midoriya shrugged his shoulders at him and the group walked off, grabbing their things before leaving.
“Wait guys, what’s going on, did something happen?”, Mic asked and looked after them as they walked out.
Asui stopped and looked up at her English teacher.
“Aoyama got scolded by Aizawa Sensei for getting struck by the hologram.”, she explained.
“What hologram? I thought he wasn’t that much of a fan of these things?”
“The collapsing building thingy, he said that we had to do it to test how good our reaction time and reflexes were. I think Aoyama got hit by the hologram because he stood there watching Midoriya.”, she added but Mic couldn’t find any words in the right time. And before he had noticed, the group had left the room.He closed the door again and was actually wanting to go after his friend. But with a quick look at the clock, he decided that it could use some more time and that he shouldn’t make the class miss out on the last few lessons before the English test on Friday.
On his way to 1-a’s classroom, he sunk into his thoughts. He knew, Aizawa wouldn’t have chosen that exact hologram on free will. There must have been a change in the schedule lately which he couldn’t change back. And of course, a student had to be hit by the blocks, what else- no wonder Aizawa’s mood had quickly switched from ‘I’ll protect you over my dead body’ to ‘I don’t give a shit about all of you fucks’. He’d use his chance to talk to him later, as they had planned that Mic would take his friend to the city for some groceries in his car after school, that day. Which was why he originally came to the training room. The last lesson had gotten cancelled for him, as his class was spontaneously taking a trip to some historical places, and now that his day would end earlier than Aizawa’s, he had wanted to talk to him and discuss if he should wait for him or pick him up an hour later.
