I make sure everything on me is secure, a Tatzelwurm catching my eyes outside my window.

It slithers around a tree branch, it's thick, lanky self, clinging to the wood.

It flicks it's tounge out to wet it's eyes, the orbs searching around.

I leave it be, exiting my room.

Maid and knights walk through the halls of the palace, all bowing their heads as they greet me.

I make my way out of the palace and stand outside, eyes searching for Alastor.

I spot him, talking to Althaea.

I walk over to them, she bows her head at me, refusing to meet my eyes.

" My princess, " She smiles.

" Hi, Althaea. " A raven sits on her shoulder, clucking is beak and shaking out it's feathers.

Alastor pulls me in and press a kiss to my lips, I smile.

" Sorry to intrude. " Althaea turns and walks away, glancing quickly over her shoulder.

Her raven caws before she shifts, taking form of an un-ordinary black fox. The raven rides on her back as she swiftly runs away.

" You smell great now, " Alastor teases, burying his nose into my neck.

" Why thanks. I try. "

" Where are you headed? "

" Just a walk. Wanna join? "

He looks towards were Althaea had just disappeared before nodding. " Of course, my love. " He smiles, pecking my cheek.

We walk silently through the roads of the main city of Lleina, before we are walking through silent trails.

I trail my long fingers over the trunks of trees as we walk, Alastor watches the waves of the sea to his left.

The neigh of a horse stops us both in our tracks as we listen for any more.

I listen closer than Alastor, the Elf in me having better hearing.

I hear the grunts of another, I make my way towards it.

" Maybe we shouldnt- "

" If one of my people is in danger, I'm saving them. " I growl.

I take my sword out of its sheath, holding it in front of me as I silently travel through the forest.

I come upon a clearing, usually used for large parties.

In the middle, a fairy is being attacked by a large troll, the troll grabbing her ankle and pulling her.

She screams for help, thrashing and kicking her legs.

I leap in, pointing the tip of my blade against the trolls neck.

" Let her go. " I demand.

The troll looks at me, and almost instantly lets go as he realizes who I am.

The fairy lets out a breath of relief.

" Thank you princess, I promise to pay you back. " She drops to her knees in front of me.

I glance over at her, " No, please, it's okay. Now, go! "

She listens, thanking me again before sprinting.
