I toss my sword too, the sound of it landing right on top of his echos through the room.

He pushes me to the ground before dropping to his knees and hovering over me.

His hands are on either side of my face as he stares down at me.

He leans all his weight to his left hand, his right hand coming out and playing with the collar of my shirt.

" Are you sure? " He asks.

I nod.

" Words, baby. "

" I'm sure. "

" If you want me to stop, tell me. You got that? "

" Yes. "

" Good girl. "

Once we're both dressed, I bend down and pick her up bridal style, making my way out of the cave.

It's dark outside, the moon high in the sky.

" You think anyone is looking for you? " I ask.

She shrugs in my arms.

I look down to see her eyes closed, her head resting on my chest.

I walk silently through the forest, careful for sticks and leaves.

Once we make it under her balcony, I purse my lips.

" I can walk- "

I let out a laugh. " You mean you can crawl?" I tease.

She rolls her eyes.

I walk past the palace to the coast, the waves crashes softly against the sand.

I whistle, watching the water.

It ripples before my dragon emerges, her green eyes shining in the moonlight.

She swims up to the shore, and I use her foot as a step stool to climb on top of her.

It doesn't hurt her what so ever.

She walks silently to Zharians balcony and I carry her over it, hopping onto it.

I open the door, keeping her close to me with my other arm.

When I push it open, I freeze.

Inside, Alastor sits on her bed.
