DisDream Academy: Chapter 2

Everyone had a long, boring ride. Rapunzel got out her sketchpad and quickly sketched the scenery from outside the carriage, whilst Merida and Hiccup both had fallen asleep. They traveled through the deep currents of Atlantis, all the way to the grand towers of Arendelle. It was around 4:30 am, as the sun was slowly rising.

"Miss?" Meridas driver asked, waking her up.
"Huh?" She groaned, until recognizing her surroundings once again.
"We're about to cross our border. You will feel a turbulence, that okay with you?"
"Aye... yeah..."

As they crossed the border between the realms, an intense light almost blinded Merida, as the pressure pinned her against her seat.
She shut her eyes, and once she opened them again...

A huge, beautiful meadow full of white flowers and cobblestone pathways. Carriages from all directions headed along the pathways, heading towards a huge palace; surrounded by many other buildings. The entire view looked so spectacular, Rapunzel was speechless.

"Best. Day. Ever!" She cheered, sticking her head out of the window, looking like she was gonna break out into song. Before she could, another carriage passed her. It held the duo of a guy with a red loose shirt and a guy with a fitted blue shirt; both from the Dreamer district. "Oh! Hi!" She grinned, and waved at the pair. The man in red waved back and had a soft smile. "Why hello! I've never seen someone like you before...! Are you from the other district?" he asked. The man in blue gave her a side eye.
"Yeah! Oooo are you two from the same kingdom?" Rapunzel wondered. The man in red chuckled."If you call 16th century Spain a kingdom, then sure. Me and Tulio aren't any sorta royalty."
"Not yet" Tulio snickered, and looked towards Rapunzel."Tulio come on-!" The man in red rolled his eyes.
"If that's Tulio," Rapunzel began changing the topic."What's your name?"
"I'm Miguel!" He reached his hand out the window, for a shake. Rapunzel smiled. "Rapunzel! You can call me Punzie if you'd like though!" She returned the hand shake, since the carriages were going at the exact same speed. "Well I do hope we'll be friends then."

Meanwhile, Hiccup was gazing out the window. He was... nervous. He wasn't an extrovert, for that matter, and without Toothless...? He felt worthless...
"Hey you!" Merida shouted, her thick Scottish accent making Hiccup perk up. "Eh?" He winced, before looking at Merida. "Oh uh... Hi.." He looked down. Merida grew a smile on her face. "You're Scottish too?" She was a bit surprised. Was he someone from her kingdom? A village boy perhaps?
"Yeah.. I can tell you are too but I've never seen you around on Berk-"
"Berk?!" Confused, she asked more about this place he calls "Berk" They soon realized that the both of them were from seperate districts. As they laughed it off, the two continued conversation. The two of them were glad they already made a friend, but little did they know how important this new friendship was...

After a small amount of time, all of the carriages finally stopped. "Thank you!" Rapunzel smiled, grabbing her satchel and walking out. The wind blew through her hair as she stared at the giant, and regal city like veiw. The giant castle in the center had many windows and levels, with tall towers with blue tips.
"this looks nothing like Berk...!" Hiccup mumbled as Merida stood next to him. "Aye... it isn't like DunBroch either-"
Thousands of people from both districts stared at the castle, until two people appeared from the main entrance. "Welcome everyone! To DisDream Academy!" A small, short, anthropomorphic mouse said. "I'm Headmaster Mouse, also known as Mickey!" He grinned. "And this is my partner, Headmaster Pitch!" A tall, slim, dark man appeared from a puff of black smoke. He had gray skin, and short black hair. He wore a long black cloak and a silver badge to match Mickey's. "Greetings, students.." He said.

"There's something off about this guy..." Hiccup mumbled. Merida nodded in agreement.
"Do you feel something wrong about this guy?" Rapunzel asked Miguel and Tulio.
"Who the mouse?" Miguel chuckled. Rapunzel shook her head. "Nevermind..."
As Mickey explained everything that would be going on in the school. As every student got their dorm room keys, Rapunzel, Hiccup, and Merida all had the same feeling...

Something was wrong.
