I haven't seen Stef since my secret got out it was hell keeping my momma off of Carri. I got scratches on my back my cheek red. Shit just wasn't right everybody tensed up like a motherfucker. Instead of going home I went to the nearest bar and started a tab. I got so wasted I don't even know how I got home I felt a pair of soft lips against mines. Carri POV

I felt like shit seeing Jaz going up to bat for me the way she took licks that was meant for me she really loves me it's so fucked up because I lost my friendship with Remy because of this connection that pulls us back together no matter how far away we get from each other we find each other. I searched for this connection in the men I chose and let's just say it's rare I can't find it. I made it to my car safely while Jaz kept Remy away from attacking me I sat in my car crying hitting my vape that shit was starting to kick in to ease the pain temporarily I watched Jaz walk to her car get in and drive up the street to the nearest bar I didn't follow I took my ass to the liquor store grab a styrofoam cup with ice a pint of Apple crown Royal I sat in the parking lot pour my warm brown liquor over my ice watching it melt I took a gulp had to hiss from how strong it was going down feeling a little mellowed out I started my car with no idea of where I was going I was just vibin driving by the time I pulled over to refill my cup I looked up I was in front of the bar Jaz was in i parked behind her. I fixed my hair and headed in thinking to myself what the fuck am I doing? As I stepped in I didn't see her right away til I heard her yelling for another drink lil baby was fucked up I peeped the scene I seen two men eyeing her I sat in the chair next to her and told the bartender make it two he set one in front of me and the other in front of Jaz she tossed that shit back so fast my damn throat hurts for her then she looked at me with faded eyes it was glossy but low I knew I needed to get her out of her just as I paid the tab and slung Jaz arm around my neck with her purse in my hand I watched out of the side of my eye as we approached the door those two creeps were getting up praying they didn't try anything. Just as I was getting Jaz in the front seat I quickly grabbed my gun and tucked it in time just as I was shutting my door I heard the bar door open it was the creeps headed my way not one to fear I upped my shit while eyeing them real good I smirked when their hands went up and I heard oh shit I told em fuck around and find out this not that I'll air this bitch out ! Of course they ran I get in my 2023 Lincoln Navigator start the car up and let my playlist fill the car as I'm driving I had my dress up a little exposing my thigh to get some air the liquor had me hot while I was thinking where I could drop her off at. Remy house was out of the question. Jaz: shit I was hungover with a slight headache so hearing Stef name I look at Carri. Ooo k and what you want me to do ?
