The Depressed

Day 1 of a New Friendship

"Out of the way losers!"

I laughed riding on aKero's back. It was actually fun for a while. But then I looked at a group at three. The one with pink hair gave a glare at me. It was Akio. Quickly I grew silent and tried to ignore him. aKero noticed.

"Hey Lin, you okay?"

I guess I could tell him what's wrong. He's my friend now.

"I saw Akio and-"

"You know what? Forget about him! Have some fun in your life. It's not always depressing."

"Yeah I know," I said sarcastically.

"Look why don't we hang out somewhere? How about a concert?"

I did really want to see a Hatsune Miku concert right now. She was great and my parents knew her personally. I met her once and I was even allowed to call her "Auntie Miku." I might now have enough money for VIP passes since I really wanted to talk to her. She knew about what I was going through. I listened to her song "Goodbye" which I really enjoyed. Even though it's sorta suicidal.

"Not in the mood for a concert."

"We could hang out at my house. My mom's nice. Unless she's on her cell phone. And she's always on her cell phone."

I sighed remembering that his dad was a murderer. But I had nothing to do at home. So maybe I had no choice. But I'm betting I might get killed in there.

"Eh...I'm not sure."

I heard aKero chuckle and he put me down when I was in front of a small house and behind me a car pulled over on the driveway. It was a nice purple car. Then a man came out looking sort of creepy with all he bandages leaking blood.

"AKAITO!!!!!"

I screamed and hid behind aKero. He only chuckled.

"Relax it's not aKaito."

"In fact he beat me up. I'm Taito."

I stepped forward slowly and sighed in relief.

"I'm Lin Kagamine, sir."

"Wow. Your polite. Just like Maito-"

I frowned and faced the floor.

"What's wrong with Lin? Was it something I said?"

"She's going through a depression. Her boyfriend broke up with her and her two friends hate her now."

When aKero had explained, I forced back every single tear I had causing me to have a headache. I ignored it and went inside the house where I saw a lady in the kitchen.

She had a blonde side ponytail and a silver phone and she was typing and typing until she finally turned it off to face me. I'm guessing this was aKero's mom. Oh my God I knew her! She's Auntie Neru! Well, not really related, actually, but the three were like BFFs!

"Lin! How are you doing?"

"Hi Auntie Neru!"

"Auntie? Oh," Taito said sounding a bit disappointed. Why?

"Taito she isn't my niece. It's just that I knew her parents my whole life!"

Taito's face lit up and forced a smile.

"So can you guys hang out in aKero's room? I need to talk to Neru for a sec."

I nodded and the both of us walked into a dark hallway where I entered a small room with a small bed and a dull white wall with no decorations. Just a small, white room.
