They Want me back

"I need to tell mom! And dad!"

Ren smiled and nodded as we walked to my house where I rung tinge doorbell and waited for a response. After like, 5 seconds my mom answered the door. When she opened it she looked so puzzled. Confused.

"Lin I thought you were coming home later. And who is this?"

I hope she would respond calmly and hopefully not faint or anything. My mom was actually a bit sensitive. So I took a deep breathe and told her.

"Mom, this is Ren Kagamine. Your son."

Mom's eyes widened and filled with tears of joy. She soon ran up to Ren and embraced him tight while she bawled on his back and Ren patted her back.

"Ren I can't believe your alive! Everyone lost hope in you and thought that you were dead! Your really alive! Alive and well! Oh my goodness. You have a wound on your head. Everyone changed after your disappearance. Your father's almost never home. But he's home today! Lin's bee depressed, I've been working my butt of at home cleaning. Please come in! I need to show your Fante right away! The house changed and everything! Very VERY clean!"

Ren nodded as my mom pulled away from the hug as we both got into the house. Ren looked around the house in astonishment.

"Wow. It really did change."

"I even still have your bunk bed in my room."

Ren laughed like his old laugh when we were kids and I had to dress up as a boy. Soon I heard my mom yell.

"LEN!!!! GET YOUR BUTT OVER HEAR WE HAVE A SPECIAL PERSON WAITING FOR YOU!!!!!"

Ren snickered.

"Mom hasn't really changed, has she?"

"Not really."

I laughed with Ren as my parent's doors opened slowly from dad.

His eyelids grew heavy but then his eyes soon widened at the sight of Ren. He ran down the stairs as quick as he could and almost tumbled and rolled down. He embraced Ren tightly.

"Ren I can't believe your back! We all missed you and thought you were dead! We're having an ice cream party with bananas and oranges because of your return!"

"I'll start getting the food!"

Mom said and ran off into the kitchen.

"Dad...can't....breathe."

Soon dad let go of Ren and he panted like a dog. Soon dad went into the kitchen to cook.

Because the last time my mom cooked alone, a fire started. So yeah. This is why my dad is always here when my mom's cooking. When he's not here we buy store-bought food.

"So let me show you your room."

Ren nodded as we raced up the stairs to the room with two bunk beds and stuffed animals neatly in a row. From Alpacas to Zebras I arranged my stuffed animals alphabetically.

"Oh my God. Is this Len the Lion? I haven't seen him in a while!"

Oh yeah. We named some of the stuffed animals after our parents when we were 5.

"We have a Rin the Rhino. Len the Lion. Miku the Monkey. Neru the Newt. Piko the Panda. SeeU the Sea Lion. I even named some on my own."

"Amaya the Alpaca. Maito the Manatee. Akio the Armadillo."

I realized those three were the ones injured. And my ex-friends.

What I meant was, those three were the ones that got stabbed in the chest when I was angry. Then soon I bursted into tears.

"Look I don't want to make you feel sad. So how about this? You rename the animals if you want. So you won't have something to remind you of something that hurt you."

"I can't throw them away. I might need some time alone."

"Okay sis."

He patted my back and left the room as I looked sat down and my phone started buzzing with texts.

Amaya: I'm sorry, Lin. We've been friends ever since kindergarten. I know Akio's my cousin and he's family and I hate seeing him hurt. But I hate seeing my best friend being hurt more. Can you please, be friends with me again?

Maito: I'm sorry Lin. I screwed up and got pissed because now both of my friends are hurt. I really want to patch things up and start over. Maybe we can be in the group again? Just think about it, at least?

Oh so they want me back now? But what about Akio? I texted Amaya and Maito back that I was going to think about it. Because at this rate I wasn't sure. Then soon enough I heard a guy shouting outside of the house.

"PLEASE LIN I'M SORRY I FREAKING SCREWED UP!!!!! I COULDN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT YOU!!!!! IT FEELS EMPTY IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT YOU BY MY SIDE!!! PLEASE...FORGIVE ME."

I was so confused right now in choosing. If I should forgive him or not. I opened my window and stuck my head out. Akio had tears in his eyes and yellow roses in his hands. My eyes soon filled with tears too. Soon I rushed down the stairs swiftly and went outside to catch Akio's gaze. His eyes bloodshot from all of the tears.

I couldn't last seeing him like this. So I ran up to him as the sound of our tears mixed together and I embraced him. But he was so tall he he had to lift me up a little so I could reach his shoulder level.

"Lin I-I'm really sorry! I know what happened. It was a misunderstanding I'm really sorry. Do you, forgive me?"

"Well of course! Why do you think I would hug you right now?"

Akio quickly put me down and looked at me directly in the eyes. He held both of my hands and placed the roses in my palm pulled me closer to him. I tip-toed to reach his face level as I knew what he was going to do. He was going to kiss me. Akio gave me a smile and I shyly smiled back my face red. Slowly we grew closer to each other. But someone interrupted.

"Oh are YOU the guy who broke my sister's heart?"

Akio gave me a quick kiss on the lips and pulled away as my feet were back on the ground as I turned to look at Ren with my face still super red.

"Ren, he's okay. I swear it-"

"Wrong answer sister. Now YOU SIR need to have some explaining to do."

Akio answered with meaning.

"Look. I love Lin. And I made a huge mistake and if you don't accept me, ten that's fine."

Ren crossed his arms and paused for a moment. Then he smirked.

"Well okay then. Continue whatever you were doing with my sister. But.... If you dare touch her in places that should not be mentioned-"

"REN!!!!"

I face palmed myself as I grew red. Ren just laughed and went back inside. I looked at Akio who had an odd grin on his face.

"What?"

"Well Ren is very protective. In some sort of way."

He knew about Ren? Oh yeah. I told him. And he knew it was Ren? Wow. Even my mom didn't recognize Ren in the start.

I felt so happy! I had my friends back! All of this, was great! I felt so happy. Truly happy. As if my depression was over. The war was gone. I won. Soon I saw two people holding hands walking over to Akio and I. It was Maito and Amaya.

Soon we all broke down into a huge group hug. Finally we all got back together. We're one group again. I felt so happy I could almost squeal from happiness. But a feeling in me says it wasn't the end. I don't care! At least I had my friends again! And Ren! I had everything I needed o keep my going. Depression was gone.
