Alice was standing in the kitchen, tears rolling down her cheek, thinking about what Azure just told her.

She saw in herself in her mind the night when she came back from the bar; alone in the street followed by a man, tightening her coat on her shoulders, breathing hard, changing sides of the sidewalk.

She turned around to see that the man was closer than he was before, and she started to run. The man grabbed her, trained her by the hair in a dark alley, forced her to the ground, pulling up her dress. Holding her tights, raping her She remembered screaming, crying, trying to escape;

"Stop," she said

"Shut up or it'll be worse," he yelled as he punched her in the face.

Then not knowing what to do in front of this man, she looked at the street crying in silence, praying every moment that this horror would end. She came back home, two hours later, her dress full of blood, hardly standing on her two legs, her mother and her father waiting for her in front of the house.

She remembered the horror on their faces when they saw their daughter covered in blood and worse when the man was found innocent even though he wasn't.

Two weeks after, she met Sebastian and they fell in love, and a few months after she had an affair with a boy in her class. She didn't like him very much, but they were both drunk, so it happened. Then discovered that she was pregnant, but Sebastian wanted to keep the baby, not knowing it wasn't his so she did not take an abortion. Approximately five months later she got Grey.

Three years later, when Alice arrives in the doctor's office for her son's brain surgery, she sees that the doctor himself was her lover, the one she had an affair with. Alice remembered the conversation she had with him, the kind of conversation that she didn't wanted to happen, the kind of conversation she wants to forget for the rest of her life because it's was so painful;

"Oh, Alice Miller, I didn't know you were Grey's mother," he said as he closed the door of his office.

"And I didn't know you stayed here," said Alice, "I would like someone else to do the surgery"

"Oh well, Alice, it's up to you, but I'm the only one free tomorrow, so you'll have to wait, and I think your son's case is kinda urgent," he said, going to his chair.

"Ethan, there's no way you're gonna touch my son," Alice said red with anger..

"Our son, Alice, our son, don't you forget," he asked her.

"Wha... I never told anyone," she said, tears in her eyes.

"So it's true ?" he asks with a smile, "I believed that it was me, but you were so attached to Sebastian, that I was no longer sure, but you just told me the truth," he said.

"You are not his father," she answered him, "You haven't done anything to deserve him,"

Ethan grabbed Alice's arm before she could do another move. She started to feel uncomfortable as if he was about to hurt her."Alice, you know that I can help you," he said.

Alice started to be more uncomfortable.

"Alice, I'm ready to help you, but you need to give me a second chance" he said, more serious.

"How could I? You and I were never friends, we never trusted each other," said Alice.

"Listen, Alice, I was drunk, you were drunk too and it's in the past, now if you don't want me to help you that's fine, but I'm still going to do everything I can to save our son," he said.
