MAJAS POV

I walk down the stone paths of the manor looking around to observe the beauty of the forest that surrounds us, but also protects us since any normal person needs a GPS to traverse it. knowing this I installed an electromagnetic sensor, to alert me any time someone uses a GPS in the premises. The other thing about the forest is that it contains dangerous creatures that can mess with your mind, so you must always keep your head down in the area. I jog down the familiar trail and head towards the plant store. This is going to be a very difficult assignment. I can't believe The Lady instructed me to make choices. Of all things. Ugh.

As the shop rears into view, I feel an oncoming headache, as the anxiety of entering a store with other people in it, and the fear of making decisions settles in. As I'm about to enter the house of horror, I get an alert on my phone, telling me someone is using a GPS in the woods. Thank God. My assignment is put on temporary pause as Lady Isobel's safety is always number 1 priority. Quickly, I turn and rush back to the manor, hoping to catch whoever it is before they escape. Unfortunately, by the time I reach my Lady's home, all I see in the driveway is the back of a shiny silver truck. It must be Reb again. I then realise that our new cook doesn't know our most dangerous enemy, and is probably about to serve The Lady with some hidden strawberries. 'Oh no,' I whisper crashing down the halls towards my Lady's office. My eyes widen in panic as I see a supposedly apple pie lying on the table, and another in Lady Isobel's hand. I'm about to warn her that it might be strawberry pie, but before I can, she takes a bite.

"NO! MY LADY! WE DIDN'T CHECK FOR STRAWBERRIES!" I shout, but my quick thinking reminds me of the epi pens in her bedroom. I sprint to her room and dive down to the cabinet where they are stored. But...

THEY WERE GONE!

ISOBELS POV

I just took a bite of a delicious-looking apple pie, while my butler screamed at me to stop. But it was too late. All at once, I taste the sickening sweetness of strawberries. As she runs out of the room, I start to feel my throat close-up and I struggle to get air into my lungs. I fall off my chair in a panic, and the loud sound brings my butler running back to me, along with The Jester.

"Lady Isobel! Hang in there!" Maja yells, running up to me and starting to perform the Heimlich manoeuvre on me. I feel the strawberry pie coming back up, but it can't get through, because my throat was swollen! Lara - the loyal jester - was watching with a partly concerned, partly amused face

"Just throw up." She says, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. I take my fingers and shove them down my throat, reaching for the tonsils to activate my gag reflex. I feel my breakfast along with the bite of pie leave me in a horrible mess.

"Go rest, My lady." My butler says, patting me on the back comfortingly. "Lara can clean up." I nod, and trudge to my room, before lying down in bed and taking a sip of water.

LARAS POV

As Isobel leaves the room, Maja twirls to face me and orders me to clean up.

"WHAT?! NO WAY! IM NOT CLEANING UP THIS MESS!" I shout. It smelled rancid, and I could see bits of strawberries in the yellow solution.

Suddenly, Maja's face turned threatening, her eyes flashing in anger. "If I tell you to clean up, you clean up. Understood?"

I groan in annoyance, but know not to mess with her anymore. Unless I want to die. So I get down on my knees and start scrubbing the floor, while she walks out.

MAJAS POV

I'm gonna kill that bitch. Trying to poison Lady Isobel? I would not let her get away with this. But now was not the time.
