"They sound like Mob hits," Derek commented.

"Except none of them have ties To organized crime," Hotch stated.

"Do they have any Connection to each other?" Emily questioned.

"None they've found."

"How about communication With the police?" Derek asked, "Has the unsub Tried to make contact?"

"Surveillance cameras Have captured video Of 3 of the m*rder." Hotch said turning to the screen and clicking a button making a video appear "This is the latest."

"That's the best Image they have?" JJ asked.

"They're all the same. He wears a hood And keeps his head down."

"This guy's bold. Crowded areas, Broad daylight." Emily remarked shaking her head.

"So they're Completely random?" Rossi questioned.

"It seems that way."

"It doesn't make any sense." Spencer said "There's no common Victimology, No sexual component, No robbery, No geographical connection. Do the police Have any leads?"

"He's killing roughly Every 2 days." Hotch informed, "The press is having A field day, And it sounds like The mood on the street's Getting pretty edgy."

"It's a joint FBI-NYPD Taskforce?" Rossi questioned.

"Kate Joyner heads up the New York field office. She's running point on the case And called me directly." Hotch explained, "Jj, would you tell them We're ready to go?"

"Right." JJ nodded.

"Kate's starting to butt heads With the lead detectives And wanted A fresh set of eyes." Hotch looked up from the file and towards Rossi.

"Joyner, I know her." Derek said, "She's a Brit, right?"

"Well, dual citizenship. Her father's British, Her mother's American." Hotch explained, "She was a big deal at Scotland Yard before coming to the bureau."

"I heard she can be A little bit of a pain In the ass."

"I didn't think so." Hotch shook his head.

"You know her?" Emily asked.

"We liaised when she was still at Scotland Yard."

"And she's good?" Rossi asked.

"I think we're lucky To have her."

"Kate." Hotch greeted as a woman who looked a lot like Haley walked up to them.

"Aaron." Kate returned his greeting as they shook hands. "How have you been?"

"Well, thank you." Hotch informed her "This is my team. "Kate Joyner, This is David Rossi, Emily Prentiss, Jennifer Jareau, Penelope Garcia, Soren Volk, Derek Morgan, and Spencer Reid."

"Thanks for being here. Anything that you need, Just tell me. Please don't stand On protocol."

"What can you tell us About the city's Surveillance system?" Garcia asked walking a bit forward.

"And I'll have complete access?"

"They're already expecting you," Kate told her. "Shelly?" She spoke to the woman beside her who nodded and led Garcia off.

"I'd like to get A map of the borough." Spencer requested "I want to do a comprehensive Geographical profile of the area To ascertain The unsub's mental map Before it's clouded by Our linkage blindness."

"I see you brought Your computer." One of the detectives commented.

"Detectives brustin And cooper." Kate introduced them "I'll let you do The introductions."

"You caught The first shooting?" Rossi questioned.

"They've all been In different precincts." Cooper explained, "It wasn't until The third m*rder That anyone even made The connection."

"I guess this is where We play nice and ask you What you need," Brustin remarked.

"I'll let you all Figure out what that is." Kate said gesturing to the group "I just ask that you run Everything back through me. It's been my experience That having one butt On the line is enough."

Late walked over to Hotch "Can I have a word With you in private?"

"Sure." Hotch said "Excuse me." he followed her to her office.

"Liaised when she was at Scotland Yard," Soren explained to JJ.
