Luke's POV

"Yo man. Good thing you broke up with that witch." Leo says.

"Dude. Remind me again on why I was dating her." I ask my pals.

"Oh... well. Ever since 6th grade you had a crush on her." Lloyd smiles.

"Right," I say. I can't believe that I ever could have had a crush on that bitch. If I think of it now, I have realized that she was not actually worth my time. I mean she used to treat me like trash.

"Dude. Why do all the hot people have to have shitty personalities?" Leo asked. Now that made me laugh.

"Leo my man. I... don't know. You can only live with one. Either the one that's hot or the one that's thoughtful and bro I think you should choose the one that is thoughtful and not mentally retarded."

We all start laughing.

"Well, well what do we have here?" Laila smiles at me.

I smirk "Laila I--"

"Looks like someone has come here to apologize," she gives me an evil grin.

"Oh yeah," I say "I had to come and say sorry to you."

"It's alright I knew you couldn't break up with me." she makes an attempt to kiss me but I dodge it.

"Oh, Laila. I am so sorry that now you will have to go to the homecoming dance... alone." I finish off.

"Luke like you are going with someone," she says.

"In fact I am. I can go with anyone I want everyone wants to go out with me," I smirked.

"Anyone wants my body okay. And what do you have anyways, before you broke up with me you were the King but now you are a piece of shit!"

"No one wants to listen to your shit okay."

I keep walking and I accidentally bump into someone. I might not have been paying attention.

"Oww," she yelled.

"Oh I am so sorry!" I look down at her. Those are the same pair of green eyes.
I look down. "Oh I think you dropped your stuff."

She looks down and quickly says "Oh." She looks back up at me "Its alright I will um... pick those up," she laughs. Her laugh is so melodic.

"Hey no. I was the one who bumped you over, so I will help you pick your stuff up." I bend over.

"Oh my gosh. Are those drugs!" a girl yells out. I look down to see two packets of marijuana spread out on the floor and a packet of cigarettes lying on the floor.

"Hey, aren't you the girl who was changing in the parking lot? You do drugs?" Lloyd asks that girl.

She blushed a bit. "No way. I would never do drugs."

"Well its petty clear," Lloyd points to the Marijuana.

""No, no. Those are my mom's. She is depressed... so she needs uh... these drugs...um to calm her down." She nods and gives Lloyd a big smile.

"Well then what are these cigarettes for?" I ask curiously. She turns around from Lloyd and faces me. She is blushing and I think she goes blank for a minute.

"Well... uh... good question. Those are my dad's. Uh... my mom since she is depressed... um she usually doesn't like it... when...eee... its hard to explain but yeah." she looks around, while the others go back to doing what they were doing before.

"Oh alright then."  I stand up and hold a out a hand. "I am Lucas by the way. You can call me Luke." I smile and she smiles back.

"Luke. Nice name."  she smiles "I am Diana." she gives me a bigger smile. I like her smile, its sweet. Well after that I start walking back to my pals. "Hey Luke." I turn around and give her a questioning look.

"Yeah?"

"I am so sorry for what I said back in the parking lot. And I will surely replace your football." she smiles and starts nodding.

"Oh. About that... what did you say there?" 

 "Well lets just forget what I said there."

"Was it that bad?"I got pretty scared.

She started laughing "No, I mean I just told you to cry in the bathroom like a baby. I kind of got pissed when you called yourself the king of the school you know?"

"What? Oh no. That was because I am the football team's captain and our school's mascot is a Lion so usually we call ourselves the kings. Don't take us wrong." I started laughing very hard. Oh, I never would even want to call myself the king of the school if the queens would be like Laila.

"Oh," she started laughing. Again. "God, I feel so stupid," both of us laughed for a while.

"Whut are you doing with my boyfriend?" Laila.

"Oh." she said with a frown. She looked at me for a moment. "I was just asking him for help... since you didn't help me." she gave Laila a huge grin. I started laughing.

"I am so sorry. Diana do you know her?"

"Uh... yeah. I met this bitch before I met you." she points at Laila and starts laughing. I try my best to not laugh but I can't. No one has even dared to look Laila into her eyes but Diana called her a bitch. This is gonna be fun. I smile.

"Laila. Listen. I know that you can't get over me but admit it. People just have to move on, i am your ex boyfriend. I am so sorry." I start laughing.

"Luke Brown. Oh you will pay for this humiliation." she storms off.

"Wow. Why would you ever ask her out?" Diana asks me, surprised. "You know you deserve better than that piece of shit."

"Oh gosh. You won't believe this but I had a crush on her ever since 6th grade but when i finally got to know her I realized what she really was."

"I feel sorry for you." she places one hand on my shoulder.

"Anyways. Do you really need help?"

"Oh yeah! I needed to know where room 123 was. Its History class I think.

"Hey me and my pals are headed there as well, we can walk there together."

"Yeah, that would be great!" she smiles.

"So, this is Lloyd, and this is Leo." I point at them.

"Hi, I am Diana." she smiles and shakes each of their hands.
