As days passed, Valia had learned as much as she could about Blue's species, Tide Gliders from the Dragon Manual and had spent most nights teaching the baby dragon as much as she possibly could at the pond she had found him, as a way to prepare him for any kind of possible danger in the future and to make sure he doesn't become too dependent on her. One of the only things she wasn't able to teach him was how to fly, because of her not being a dragon, but she did her best in figuring out ways to teach the young dragon what she could be able to teach him. She did this while Hiccup spent the nights working on something before leaving early in the mornings to the forest and leaving notes that said that he left to training early, which of course Valia knew was a lie, as she quickly put two and two together after noticing how Hiccup suddenly became extra interested about night furies and after Blue finding saddle designs under Hiccup's bed while Valia was making breakfast one morning.

Valia was currently in the middle of training with Hiccup and the other teens and they were facing the Gronkle again. Valia was wearing her gloves, but she wasn't using them on the Gronkle whenever it got too close to her, she only leapt over the dragon and landed on her feet on the other side of the dragon, causing the other teens to be somewhat distracted by seeing her speed and agility while the Gronkle charged. The Haddock sister saw in the corner of her eye that Hiccup rubbed something on the dragon's nose before it rolled over on its side in delight.

Once training was over, the other teens followed the Haddock twins outside, all of them except for Astrid asking Hiccup questions. Valia hadn't taken off her clawed gloves yet.

Hiccup: I left my axe back in the ring. You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up with you.

Hiccup then took off and almost ran into Astrid before he ran off, leaving his sister with the other teens, who quickly began asking her questions.

Fishlegs: Where did you learn to jump and land on your feet like that?

Tuffnut: Yeah, how'd did you do that?

Ruffnut: It was really cool.

Valia didn't say anything in response, she just continued walking and the other teens continued following her, asking her questions until she made a sharp turn, and made a break for home without the other teens noticing, leaving the teens amazed while Astrid was suspicious on both Haddock twins.

Tuffnut: Whoa.... Can she turn invisible?

Snotlout: Uh, no. She's just fast and very quiet, a somewhat deadly combo. Luckily, we're not her enemy as long as we don't piss her off.

Fishlegs and Astrid then turned to look at Snotlout and the twins after Snotlout said that, mostly the twins.

Snotlout: Okay, fair.

Tuffnut: ( confused: ) What? What's fair?

( Back with Valia )

When Valia got to the house and opened the door, she was met with an excited Blue with a piece of paper with a prosthetic tailfin design on it in his mouth.

Valia: ( to Blue, blankly as she goes inside the house and closes the door behind her: ) Okay, mister, stop going through your uncle's room when we're not in the house. Put that back where you found it.

Blue made a few grumble sounds as he began crawling up the stairs slowly to put back the paper where he found it. Valia chuckled as she shook her head with a smile.
