chapter 9: old job?

I felt really bad when I sat on my bed thinking about what happened during breakfast I wasn't even worried about what we were going to do today then there was a knock at the door I hadn't realized I was crying til then I wiped my tears and told the person to come in I look up to see lafayette and aaron "you ok y/n" I nodded to Aaron's question "yea I'm fine thanks" they didn't believe me "you sure mon ami" I put my head down biting my lip when thomas came in "hey darlin' you ok?" That's all it took me one more person checking on me and I lost it I broke down my french accent became thick "it'z just w'y zid I have to be so 'arsh on 'im on all of tu" I was having a full out break down and all three boys almost immediately comforted me "vi darlin' you felt like he was moving to fast do I believe you should have stopped courting him no do I believe yall should have talked about it yes but it is not ur fault ur emotions got to you..." ..I though before a voice interrupt "he's right it's not ur fault" george the voice of reason said and I jumped up and hugged him almost immediately and he hugged me back tightly "Je suis tellement désolé chérie, je suis tellement désolé, je t'aime et je veux être avec toi, s'il te plaît, je suis vraiment désolé d'avoir claqué!!!" I said almost in tears agian washington looked at the boys for help."She's extremely sorry and said that she loves tu and she's sorry for snapping at tu" laf responded helping him out a bit leading washington to nod "dear it's not ur fault I shouldn't have went at such a fast pace I love you too...... now" he wiped my tears "let's plan today togeth-" I shake my head and he looked confused I was calmed down so I was able to speak in English "I have an idea but it's a surprise we'll be gone for a while and by the time we come back it should be Christmas" (yea-.....ik I was slacking it's way past Christmas) they nod and we walk out "ALRIGHT MY LOVELY HISTORICAL FOK-" BOOM "another one really?" I think to myself I walked upstairs and look "....oh..." I pick up the tiny green animal I had gotten for john he basically begged for a baby turtle so I got it for him- anyways- I put her in her tank "JOHN!!!" He came running in and slipped on the rug alex wanted for their room "how does it feel to be  shorter than me now?" I say this smirking and he rolled his eyes (historically he was around 6 smthing but it's not clear so we're going with 5'9 anthony ramos' height and rember the reader is around 5'8 5'9) he grunted standing up "why did you call me?" I smile getting back on track "right. frances got out of her tank-" honestly I thought it was adorable that he named the turtle after his daughter "oh.." he walked up to the tank and picked her up "oh my baby I'm sorry I must have left the tank to close to the edge" he turned to me with puppy dog eyes and I became catious last time he did that he end up with frances, stickers, a whole cake, and a new jacket "why are you giving me that look?"....he made it worse by getting on his knees which made me feel bad I wasn't that strict right? "Can we please bring her to a doctor" ......I sighed "fine but pack and get her travel gear ready we'll be gone for about a week and a half two weeks so just pack extra just in case" he got off his knees and jumped up and down screaming yes ma'am thank u over and over agian and I smiled I love seeing them happy I walked off as he packed and went back downstairs "HEY!" I laughed as everyone jumped I scared the living shit out of them "g-go pack!" I couldn't stop laughing so it was hard to get words out they all blushed from embarrassment and went to pack and stopped george "you can move into my room dear yours can become the guest room" mine was the biggest room so he just simply nodded and went to pack and move the rest of the stuff while I packed sandwiches for lunches so all I had to do was pull over they finished pack and we piled into the car "sooo where are we going?" James asked "yall are going to see what I did in my past job before I figured out I liked to work in the café however it's been like 6 years since I did this jobs I'll probably start picking it up" I said getting out of the car forgeting my bag badge (you'll see what bag and badge in the next chapter 😉) and get back in after putting it in the trunk "ok let's go" I start pulling out getting on the road
