1 - The last Soul

"That's one thing about you, deamos lack kindness. Maybe not now, but in time, you'll realize your mistakes. You'll all turn on each other, and what happened to us will happen to you." The human said through gritted teeth.

With one swoosh, Pierce swords slices down, making it through his armor and skin, killing him.

The bright light shines from the human blinding those in the radius. The soul flies from the light and travels through trees until it gets attacked by ice, landing roughly on an open field.

Pierce finally catches up to the soul and picks it up to examine the damage.

Noi jumps down from a large tree, "Drop it!"

Leif appears behind the tree, "You heard the man, now drop it this way."

"It's mine, I rightly conered him first." Noi says, inching towards Pierce.

Leif takes out his Sickles and glides them agianst each other,"So you wanna try me?"

Standing his ground, Noi hardens his stance, "Face me! I'm delivering it to his Highness first!"

The three deamos stand in a triangle, looking between each other waiting for any movement.

"Petty the both you. Truly, it doesn't matter who delivers it, as long as it's me." Rhys adds.

Pierce looks down at his hand that holds the soul and scoffs, "Catch." With that, he throws the soul behind him.

The soul smacks Leif in the head and drops to his left hand, but with it already being occupied by his weapon, he loses control of the soul.

Noi suddenly jumps at Leif, who now contains the soul, "It's mine!"

"Freeze." Rhys creates an orb of magic and aims in between Leif and Noi, causing them to fall down and the soul to sore through the air.

"Aagghh!" Noi blurts out. He seeks out the soul and quickly returns to his feet, running straight for it.

Pierce then runs at Noi, knocking him into a nearby log. He recovers the soul before a large blast of fire flies through the forest, enclosing Pierce in a ring of fire. He looked around before realizing where the magic had been shot from and bowed.

The others take notice of his actions and repeat.

Asch comes into the view of his soldiers and takes the time to look down at them bowing.

"Your Highness, I can explain.. We had obtained the soul when it slipped through our grasp and -" Rhys tried to explain.

"We had a delay." Piece cut him off suddenly.

Lady grandma appeared behind Asch, "Well~ is it hot in here, or is it just me~"

Rhys questioned, "Lady grandma?"

Asch, who was annoyed by his grandmother's actions, rolled his eyes at her comment, " Uugh not now grandmother.."

"Silence! Humph! When I was queen with this land of deamos, I could have your tongue for speaking back at me!" Lady grandma said rather abruptly.

"Why are you here?" Leif said with no interest in their discussions.

Lady grandma calmed down and explained, "That soul you boys obtained, you need to take it, UNHARMED, to the alter now, or we won't be able to use it."

Pierce had slipped the soul Lady grandma brought up into his small pouch and quickly placed it back to his side.

Noi exclaimed, "I mean, the person killed to get it was harmed, but uh -"
