♡~ Ava POV ~♡

I woke up early in the morning. My mouth was so dry. I tossed the blanket off my legs and slowly glided my feet to the cold floor. I stood up and made my way to the door. I yawned and stretched my arms before carefully opening the door. I peered out and saw no sign of any demons. My steps were soft and quiet. I went to the tips of my toes to reach a small glass from the cabinet. I grabbed a small glass and placed it under the faucet. Turning the handle, cold water flowed into the glass. I watched and listened to the peaceful sound of the water. I turned the fauct back off and picked up the glass. I placed it to my lips as I walked back to the room. I had drank about half before placing it down on the bedside table near Cordelia. I rubbed her cheek to wake her up. The sheets had moved in her sleep, exposing her skin. I looked down and noticed her ripped and blood-stained clothes.

"Cordelia?!" I tried to shake her awake. She hummed in response. "What happened?!"

She slowly opened her eyes. "What are you talking about?"

I traced my thumb lightly over the scar. "This!"

She looked down at where my hand rested. "Oh, nothing." She sat up and tried to cover it up.

"It's not nothing! Your shirt is stained in blood." I yelled.

"Leif and I just -" She went to explain.

"Leif did this?!" I grew furious.

"No. Yes? Well, it was -"

"Did he do this? Yes or no." I sternly asked.

"Yes, but -"

All I needed to hear were those words before anger flowed in my veins. I went to storm away, but she placed a soft grip on my wrist.

"Ava... We were sparring. It was my idea. We both agreed. Whoever drew blood first won, " She spoke quietly.

I grabbed her shoulders and looked deep into her eyes. "You can't put yourself in harms way like that, Delia."

"I know. I know."

"Let's clean you up and have a girls' day." I winked.

"Sounds good." She smiled.

♡~ Cordelia's POV ~♡

I followed Ava into the bathroom. I sat on the edge of the tub while Ava grabbed stuff from under the sink. She placed rubbing alcohol, a bandaid, and items for our spa time.

"Take off your shirt." Ava ordered me.

"I didn't know you were so dominant, Ava." I smirked.

Her face flushed. "T-that wasn't what I m-meant!"

"Just playing with you." I stood up and removed my shirt. Ava soaked a soft cloth with the alcohol. She walked over to where the cut was exposed. She gently rubbed my skin with the cloth. I hissed, "Ow! That stings!"

"I'm sorry!" She panicked.

"It's okay." I reassured her.

She finished cleaning the wound and placed a bandage over top.

"Now we can start a girls' spa day!" She cheered.

Ava started a hot bath with bubbles. I changed into a bath robe. I heard scratching at the door and opened it to see Johnny run through my legs and rub up next to Ava. I closed the door and looked over Ava's shoulder. She was preparing our face masks, one for me and Ava, and one that was safe for Johnny. I dipped my finger into the bowl.

"It's almost done." She told me. Smiling to myself, I dragged my finger against Ava's cheek, leaving a green mark.

"Hey!" She turned to me with a small smile.
