"My Lord according to the documents submitted The Rajvanshi Group of companies have been receiving funds from abroad for which they have no documents to deny and have yet not distributed the dividend among the shareholders",I said as I stood in front of the judge.
He looked down at the documents while all of us remained seated.
"Objection your honor",the defense lawyer stood up as he spoke.
"Objection overruled Mr. Khan",the judge looked up at the defense lawyer.
He looked at me and I brought out the documents that Rehan Bhai gave me earlier at the firm.
I walked forward as I hand over the documents for the judge to look into.
"My Lord these are the bank statements of Rajvanshi Group of companies of the current financial year and they clearly point to the amount of money they've been receiving from these organisations they've setup in abroad",I spoke and turned to look at Vivaan Rajvanshi sitting behind the defense lawyer.
He glared at me and I smirked at him as I turned towards the judge.
"My Lord the prosecution had not understood the papers I guess,the Rajvanshi Group of companies has been maintaining retained earnings for investing further in their projects",he said as he looked at me with mocking look.
Glaring at him I scoffed as I saw him clench his jaw when I smirked at him.
I walked towards him and turned to the judge.
"My Lord it seems Mr. Khan likes underestimating his juniors do you Mr. Khan?",I said as smiled at him sarcastically.
"Because if they are keeping money as retained earnings then it means they have enough profit they're receiving",I said turning to Mr. Khan to see him shoot daggers at me through his look.
"Rudeness does not look very great on women Ms. Mathur",he said in mocking tone.
I chuckled as I smiled at him sweetly,
"Misogyny does not suit men either Mr. Khan".
"Mr. Khan I think you've spent too much time fighting against insolent lawyers to be able to differentiate between blunt and rude lawyers",I said turning to pick up the new papers.
I stared at him to see him looking around embarrassed and sat down.
I looked my brother and he smirked while my father had a small smile on his face.
The court adjourned and I walked put with my brother and father.
I noticed the amount of reporters gathered at the court parking area.
Sighing I looked at my father and put his hand on my back as we walked down to the cars.
I could see Vivaan Rajvanshi getting interviewed and as he walked ahead after his bodyguards they came towards us.
Coding us the reporter shoved the mic in front us as they shot questions.
"What do you think about this case?"
"Do you think the Rajvanshi's have really done that?"
"Two of you were seen together at your engagement do you think you'll develop feelings for him as people tend to feel attractive towards the people they work with?",one of them asked trying to create scandal as I could see the man smirking.
