Y/n had just finished the game and was feeling a mix of emotions. As she made her way to the roof of cabin 11, she gazed at the starry sky above, lost in her thoughts. She fidgeted with her necklace, a habit she had picked up from her father, as she reminisced about him. She was also trying to draw the night sky like her dad always loved to do.
Despite the joy of winning the game, a deep sadness engulfed her. She whispered to herself, "We won the game, Dad," as tears rose. It was a bittersweet moment for her, and she felt a wave of emotions wash over her.
Y/n was feeling overwhelmed and helpless, and tears threatened to spill from her eyes. She knew that crying wouldn't solve anything, so she tried to distract herself by gazing up at the starry night sky. However, her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Percy's voice, the one voice she had been hoping to avoid.
She couldn't help but feel bitter as she looked up at the sky, wishing she could escape from her problems. When she looked down, she saw Percy, still annoyed at her for teasing him earlier at the beach. She felt guilty for toying with his emotions, and the memory of almost kissing him made her heart ache with regret. But wasn't gonna tell him.
As he ascended the ladder, his mind was in turmoil. He had no idea why he was doing this, especially after everything that she had done to him. But he couldn't shake off the feeling of concern that he had for her.
He had seen the sadness in her eyes and it had tugged at his heartstrings. As he reached the top of the roof, he saw her sitting there, lost in thought. He took a seat beside her and the two sat in silence, taking in the view of the camb below. Despite everything that had happened, he couldn't help but worry about the girl who had toyed with his emotions.
Y/n and Percy sat in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Suddenly, Percy broke the silence with a question, "You okay?" Y/n wanted to retort and make a comeback, but she just wasn't in the mood to pick a fight with him. So instead, she replied truthfully, "No," while looking at the cuts she had gotten from the game they had just played.
Percy, sensing that something was wrong, pulled out a bandage that he had kept in his pocket just in case he needed it. "Give me your arm," he demanded, his tone both firm and worried. Y/n was confused; she had never heard Percy sound so concerned for her before. However, she obliged and held out her arm, allowing him to tend to her wounds.
Percy's voice was stern but he couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest when he saw the light in her eyes, sparkling like the stars. "Just because I'm helping you, does not mean I'm happy with you," he said, as he gently tended to her cuts.
Y/n's lips curved into a small smile, and her fingers fidgeted with the necklace around her neck. Percy couldn't take his eyes off her, as her smile was all he wanted to see. He continued to focus on her wounds, and the silence between them was the most peaceful they had been with each other.
As he glanced at her wrist, he noticed the small scars that seemed to be scattered on her skin. Concerned, he asked her about them, hoping she wasn't going through anything terrible. "Where did you get these?" he asked, trying to sound calm. She looked down at her arm and let out a small chuckle. "Eczema," she replied. "Would you believe that? I get flare-ups, and even though they're supposed to heal, they often turn into scars." Hearing her explanation, he felt a wave of relief wash over him, grateful that it wasn't anything more serious.
Y/n expressed her insecurity about her scars, saying "That's why I wear bracelets, to cover them up." The conversation took a heartwarming turn when Percy noticed her discomfort and wanted to help.
He grabbed the pen she had been using to draw the night sky, moments before the conversation. He carefully opened the pen and drew a couple of small stars on her wrist. Y/n was pleasantly surprised and asked him, "Did you just draw stars around my scars?" Her question was accompanied by a small feeling of butterflies in her stomach. Percy's kind gesture had left a lasting impact on Y/n making her feel more confident and valued.
Percy and Y/n were engrossed in a conversation about music when Percy mentioned a particular song. Y/n's face lit up with excitement as she realized that she knew the song he was talking about.
Her love for the song was evident in her soft-spoken words, which she uttered almost under her breath, so Percy wouldn't hear her. However, her words didn't go unnoticed, and Percy's face broke into a small smile. Suddenly, Percy seemed to be at a loss for words, and he started to stutter.
Y/n could sense his nervousness and asked him"What is it Aquaman" Percy's thoughts were all jumbled up, and he couldn't express himself clearly. He let out a sigh, and his mind went blank, and he found it difficult to articulate his feelings.
He looked at her with pleading eyes and asked, "Can I lay here with you tonight?" She let out a deep sigh, conflicted between her feelings for him and the way she had been treating him for the past few months. After a moment, she replied, "Yeah, I guess you can. Just...don't do anything weird, okay?" She spoke with a hint of caution, still trying to maintain the facade of an enemy between them.
A/n: YES I USED TS SONG FOR THIS AS AN IDEA!!
