Pink poodle

Yn woke up on Percy's chest near the lake due to the sound of the light snores coming from him. "Percy!" Yn tried shaking him "hmmm" he groaned as he wrapped his arms around Yn's waist which made her whole face turn bright pink! "Five more minutes" he said in his mourning voice which was a little deeper "no we have to go! " she added grabbing his hand and tried to pull him up but he was heavier when he was sleepy so she just landed right back in his arms. "I told you five more minutes " he smirked "boy if you don't-" he cuts her off by hugging her in his arms.

After his five minutes he finally got up and they were back before Annabeth and Grover could woke up. He was nervous about what happened earlier, he couldn't stop thinking about holding Yn in his arms and how he could feel her heartbeat but it was not time to be thinking like that. They got the others up and went to the train station but not without a little run in.
Annabeth put her arm out as they walked making them all stop "what's up?" Grover asked and Yn scanned the area for monster when annabeth said "pink poodle" they all looked down and saw the dog. Yn went over and started baby talking the dog before them "Aren't you just the cutest and most bizarre thing ever?" she petted the dog and Percy felt like his heart was gonna explode "would you look at that! Yn is actually sweet" Grover said like he was gonna pull a persassy moment but Yn ignored them all.
"What's he saying?" yn asked Grover.
There was some strange barking for a bit and Annabeth felt this was so  annoying but she waited "so I told him we needed help so he offered to go back to his owners well because he's kinda of a rich pup"
"But isn't there a reason he ran away?" you asked relating to that feeling "yeah but he says he could always escape again" Grover petted the dog.

The pink poodle found his owners and they paid the kids a good bit of money for finding him. Annabeth got them all a train ticket. Yn fiddle with her rings as she watched the dog get taken out of view by his owners and Percy notices "you good?" he asked taking her hand  and she sighed "he helped us even when he wanted nothing but freedom... I just feel like we could've helped him in the same way" she explained "and I always wanted a dog" she said looking down at the floor "when we stop this whole war with the gods and we're not fighting for our lives I'll get you a dog" he said like it was a matter of fact "woah! No way!" she laughed "what?" he demanded.
"One step at a time, sea boy" she laughed again"if you keep this pace your gonna make it sound like you'll ask me to move in with you in a few months" they both had a few laughs whole Grover and Annabeth felt like a third wheel or I guess the back wheels since it was both of them.
