*42* Music video with deeper meaning

Fourth felt strangely uncomfortable and couldn't explain it.  This was the second time he watched this music video and he couldn't understand what was happening to him.  He stopped the recording halfway through.  He had had enough.

“Why are you doing this to me, GemGem?”  He asked, and his question floated into the void of the four walls of the rented apartment.  Just a week ago he believed that Gemini really loved him and wanted to be with him, he trusted him, and now he felt cheated and hurt.  He looked up and looked at the face of the heroine of the music video.  Prim, Gem's friend.

Just a friend?  So why is he looking at her like that?  And that smile?  All these emotions?  My Gem is a great actor, but could he act all this if he didn't really feel it?  Wait... Mine?  No, Gemini was never mine.  Phuwin mentioned that Gem was once in love with Prim.  Who knows, maybe he still loves her?  After all, this song is clearly for her, not for me... How naive I was!  How could I believe him?  Mile's father was right, you had to stay away from him.  Everyone loves Gem now, they consider him a great hero, but no one knows him like I do, no one knows that he is a walking red flag.  Just the fact that he made the decision for both of us about this music video, but that's not what hurts the most, it's that he used our story without my knowledge and gave it to Prim.  "I'm not blind, I see that Prim is actually me."

Fourth began to wonder if he was becoming paranoid.  Maybe he just imagined it all.  Perhaps none of this was true.  After all, the moment when Gemini rescues Prim from the kidnappers was the moment in their lives when they saved the plane with passengers and when Gemini went to Fourth's fathers.  But this scene was special for another reason: the same thing happened when they went to P'Erin to warn her about the mafia who wanted their money back.

“You played with my feelings, GemGem, you took our history and gave it to someone else.  It fucking hurts!”  Fourth screamed and swung, knocking the laptop off the desk and onto the floor.

He wanted to hit Gem, hurt him as much as Gem had hurt him with that video, that song, and the fact that he had been working on it so secretly.  Just a week earlier, Gemini had finished recording this single.  This was supposed to be his big debut and he insisted that Prim play the main character, Fourth agreed.  P'Off had another task for him: he was to prepare for an international music competition that was to be held in Singapore and to which he was to go together with NuNew, their local star.

He knew NuNew Chawarin not only from the stage.  He saw him often at Gun's place and knew that NuNew was the leader of their gang nicknamed "Annabelle". So they spent the last weeks performing in entertainment programs, workshops and subsequent, often many hours of training before going to the concert. P'Off believed  that Fourth and NuNew together had a chance to win. That's why Fourth and Gemini didn't have many opportunities to meet. They usually called each other in the evenings, but it often happened that they were so tired that they fell asleep during the conversation.

Fourth took his backpack, threw his wallet, the stuffed animal Gem had given him, the gun P'First had gotten him "for defense in case of an emergency," put his backpack on his back, put his phone in his pocket, and left the apartment.

He didn't really know where he was going, his legs carried him until he reached the familiar building of an abandoned school.  It was here that P'Mile sent Gemini and Phuwin to survive the night in an abandoned and haunted building.  Fourth didn't care that this place had a very bad reputation.  He slowly walked inside.  It was so quiet and peaceful here, as if the place itself belonged to another space-time.

He went to the top floor.  He dropped his backpack onto the dusty floor.  He took out a white teddy bear with a cute red heart sewn to its front paws and placed it on a chair against the wall.  After a while, he also took out a gun, loaded the magazine, positioned himself quite far from the mascot, cocked the gun, and then fired twice.
