My eyes flutter open from my long five-hour nap. My heartbeat quickens when I realize we've made it to New York. I look over at Tommy who's already watching me with a smile.

"I'm happy I woke up to see all this," I say sitting my seat back in its upright position.

I stare out the window at the thousands of people fast walking to their own destinations. I try counting all the deli's or pizza joints I see but quickly lose count. Tommy pulls up to a rather fancy apartment building.

"We here!" He says excitedly. My nerves started to set in and my stomach started to hurt.

"They waitin' on us babe," Tommy says getting out of the car.

He jogs to my door opening it as usual. He places quick kisses on my lips sending my nerves away, replacing them with butterflies.

"They gonna like you." He says reassuringly.

Tommy grabs my hand leading us inside the building. We walk right past the front desk to the elevator. Looking around I could tell this was a very expensive place to live. As we enter the elevator I notice the large panel with a hundred floors. Tommy presses the very top button that reads "Penthouse."

"Penthouse huh," I say nervously.

"Nothin' serious," Tommy says as the elevator speeds past the hundred other floors. The higher we went the more nervous I got about meeting Tommy's family.

I honestly have no clue why I'm so nervous about it, he speaks so loving and positive about them I'm sure they're not bad people. It's hard not to think about the what ifs or why isn't Tommy nervous. How many girls has he introduced to them? What if they don't like me? What if I don't meet their standards?

The elevator doors opened and there stood a tall, bearded man, in a very expensive suit. On his right wrist, there was an Audemars Piguet watch.
"What the fuck." I say in my head.
His shoes looked brand new or freshly polished to a tee. He was a very handsome well-dressed man, to say the least.

On his left stood his wife who looked just as good as him. She was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt that was cut out showing her breast. I couldn't help but notice the diamond pear-shaped necklace and the diamond hoops to match. She wasn't wearing a watch but the rock on her left hand probably cost as much as his watch if not more.

"What's up Ghost!" Tommy says doing a handshake with him.

"Hey, sis." He says kissing her cheek and hugging her.

"This my beautiful girlfriend Celestial," Tommy says coming over and wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Celestial that's beautiful." His sister says coming over.

"Tasha." She says opening her arms for a hug.

"Celeste," I say hugging her back.

"Nice to meet you." His brother says hugging me after Tasha.

"Where the twins?" Tommy asks walking into the penthouse.

"Raina is at a friend's and Tariq is playing ball with Shawn," Tasha says.

"It's just us for now." Ghost says looking around.

"Babe come sit," Tommy says patting the couch next to him.

Walking further into the penthouse I was even more amazed. Everything was so beautiful and expensive. They had the perfect view of the city right from their living room. I plop down next to Tommy who doesn't hesitate to slide closer and wrap his arm around me.
