The trio stood in the Gas Station parking lot across from the autoshop, sorting through the trunk of the Impala.

"Demon blade will take care of him, right?" Dean asked his angel, who was zoning out.

"Mm? Oh, yes- that'll do fine."

"Okay, so, we got the holy water, demon blade, salt, are we good?" Sam listed, turning to Cas, who bit the inside of his cheek before nodding.

"Let the fun begin." Dean hummed, shutting the trunk of the Impala once all they needed was out of it.

The boys walked across the street before picking the lock and sneaking into the office of the autoshop. Several desks were set up in a line with 2 chairs adjacent to each. The walls and floors were obviously old and smoke stained, but the whole office was in eery order. Everything looked like it was supposed to be, and that was never a good sign.

At the sound of Sam whispering Dean's name, the older hunter looked where he was pointing, into a separate office room at the end of a hallway. The faint sound of floorboards creaking and muttering came from the room, signaling that there was somebody in there.

Cas began walking down the hallway first, clutching his blade in his hand as Sam and Dean followed in close pursuit.

The air crackled with tension as the three stood halted around the corner, listening.

"Mm, I was wondering when you Winchesters were going to show up." Aud hummed, Sam, Dean, and Cas sharing a confused and pissed glance before stepping cautiously into the doorway.

Aud continued to pace, and they got a good look at the vessel he was using. Most of the visible skin was just scarred muscle, and dirt and faint traces of blood stained his clothes. Sam could only wonder if all his scars came before or after the man was possessed.

Dean, ever the hothead, took a step forward, demon blade glinting in the pale light. "Wondering when we were gonna show up? You're the one who showed up and messed with the wrong damn town."

A flicker of movement. Cas whipped out his angel blade. The clatter of Aud drawing a wickedly curved hunting knife echoed in the stillness.

"Oh, I was hoping we would be able to work this out. But I see that idea has been forgotten." He hummed, his words drawing out just enough to get on the boys' nerves.

"What are you doing with the victims' bodies?" Sam growled, fingers white-knuckled around the hilt of his dagger.

Aud tilted his head, his vessel's eyes bloodshot. "I'm doing whatever I want with them, Winchester. I would tell you, but I'd just make you forget after anyway."

"You stay out of their heads." Cas growled, taking a defensive step forward and holding his blade up, ready to strike.

"Easy, tiger. You can't threaten me. If I wanted, I could make you forget about everyone you've even known and loved, including your little boy-toy." Aud defended, gesturing to Dean.

At that, Cas lunged at the demon, the fight erupting after that. Sam lunged before Dean, aiming for Aud's legs. The man sidestepped with inhuman agility, returning the favor with a vicious swipe of his knife. Sam barely managed to deflect it, the cold silver grazing his chest.

Still in the doorway, Dean was a whirlwind of controlled fury. He pumped a salt bullet round into Aud's shoulder, the scream that erupted short-lived as Cas appeared at the man's side. Their blades clashed in a shower of sparks, the angel's movements impossibly fast, forcing Aud back on his heels.

But Aud was a seasoned fighter. He used the momentum of Cas' assault to spin, delivering a brutal kick that sent the angel to the ground. Cas coughed, feeling blood dripping from his mouth.

Dean felt his heart skip a beat, until he saw the breath that his angel took. His head pounded, making the shot from his gun sound like a mere thud. The salt pellets scattered on Auds chest, momentarily stunning him, giving Sam the opportunity to lung forward, aiming for the exposed part of Aud's neck. His blade only grazed the side of his neck, forcing the demon to let out a choked yell before lunging back at the hunter, forcing his blade out of his hand and across the room. When Sam's eyes tracked the blade, he realized that they had guests.

Cas was fighting against several demons, and Sam had completely lost track of where the hell Dean was.

"Oh, oh, oh. You poor thing." Aud cooed to irritate the hunter under him. "You really thought that I didn't expect hunters to show up? I'm sure you can imagine my excitement when I realized those hunters were thee Winchesters." The demons hand grasped around his neck, forcing Sam to let out a choked breath as he failed the fight back.

The world around Sam blurred, and everything was a blend of color, and the last thing he heard before he fell unconscious was an unrecognizable voice.

"Sir, we've got him."
