Vika after breaking up with Kartik was no longer interested rather didn't believe love existed, for her love meant what relationship her father and mother shared based on trust and mutual respect. But after this incident that Kartik legit shook hands with DJ and ruined all her hardwork till now.. broke her trust .

Neil was in hospital from night to keep check on Neha the nurse who was shot because she knew something related to Prem Mahajan's death. ..

Neil on the other hand was fighting with his heart all these days.He had swore to himself that he would never step in Mahajan house and always maintained distance from them despite having to live in the same campus but for Yuvika he broke his swear and entered Mahajan house after 15years just to see her as she was injured. Even he could not name his unusual connection with Yuvika.

He fell asleep on the couch after being up all night. Yuvika called him a few times but he didn't pick up.She got tensed and went directly to hospital.She checked if Neha is okay and looked around for Neil. And found him on the couch sleeping.

She looked at him and thought to herself,
Ye banda ... Itna sab mere liye bina kisi expectations ke kaise karta hai jabki usse Mahajans se itni nafrat hai ..

She was in awe of the person he is..and went near him,

"Neil.. Neil.." She softly said

"Huh ha.. Kya hua Neha bhagg gayi? "

"Nahi.. Lekin abb tum ghar jao fresh ho jao kal dopehar se tum yahi ho.."

"Mai soya nahi tha thodi aankh lagg gayi thi.. "

"Sure.. Parr abb ghar jao mai sambhal lungi yaha.. "

Neil could sense her off face and Yuvika could sense his awkwardness towards her but could not realize the reason.
He went out.. Yuvika sat on the couch looking at the machines connected to Neha's body.She sighed. She noticed Neil forgot his phone there. So she immediately went outside, Neil was just about to leave but the doctor stopped him to give some updates she reached him on time.

After the doctor left he said with concern,"Kya hua sab theek? "

"Han.. Vo tumhara phone tum bhul gaye vaha" and forwarded her hand holding the phone.

"Thanks. "Neil noticed she was not wearing the ring.. But decided not to say anything.. (His heart fluttered a bit..but seeing her lifeless face he was taken aback she is really hurt isn't she..)

"To mai chalu? " he asked in the hope that she would share why she is not wearing her engagement ring.

"Haa.. Jao.. "

He turned towards the exit and she went back to the room.
Before evening Neil came back to the hospital. They both sat on the couch.

By now Vidur uncle must've told him Yuvika thought to herself why is not speaking anything about that or he still doesn't know what has happened.

Dad left for work before I reached home, but yesterday he wanted to tell me something, and now that I think about it I know what it was about, Neil thought to himself.

"Neil.. "Yuvika broke the silence between them

"Ha.. "

"Ummm tumne shayad notice nahi kiya parr.. "

"Tumhari ring nahi hai yahi na? "

She looked at him shocked so he knows..

"Haa.. Maine Kartik se rishta hamesha ke liye tod diya hai.." she said anticipating an answer.
