Third person POV:
Some words are changed so be prepared
Maddie her friends and her twin brother Mike are sitting in class listening to their teacher Mr Clark.
"This is the human brain I know I know it may not look like much now but just wait because you guys will be amazed by how much your brain can do".
As Mr Clark is talking Maddie grabs her water bottle and starts to drink from it she moves her hair behind her ear Mr Clark continues to talk but gets cut off as the principal comes in with a girl with red hair Mr Clark looks at the principal and the girl with a smile.
"This must be our new student!" Mr Clark says with excitement "yup she's all yours" the principal tells Mr Clark (sounds like a fucking predator that kidnapped kids) the principal walks out the classroom Maddie looks at the principal as she continues to drink she looks at the new girl before spitting out her water.
Everyone looks at her "sorry" she mumbles softly sinking down in her desk as everyone continues to look at her a couple people look at her with loving eyes as she looks at Mr Clark waiting for him to continue.
"Dustin drum roll please" Mr Clark smiles at him Dustin closes his book and makes a beat "everyone please welcome all the way from sunny California....Maxine!" Dustin stops the drumming "it's Max" Max says in a monotone voice.
"I'm sorry?" Mr Clark responded "it's Max no one calls me Maxine" Max explains "okay welcome to Hawkins Middle Max" Mr Clark points out.
"MadMax" Lucas whispers to the group Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will look at Max as she sat in the far back of the classroom next to the window Maddie decided to not look at Max like the others but a couple minutes later she felt eyes on her staring at her from the back of the classroom.
She looks around but everyone is either looking at the teacher, their books, or somewhere in the classroom Maddie looks at her book and as she does she feels a cold feeling run across her neck Maddie's face turns pale and she touches her neck.
Mike looks on the side of him and looks at his sister noticing her pale face and her hand "hey wanna talk in the hall really quick" he asked her she nodded and Mike raised his hand
