Mike's POV:

"

Yes Mike?" Mr Clark says as he looks at me making everyone else look at me "can me and my sister talk in the hallway really quick?" I asked I can see everyone looking at my sister as her face is still ghostly white "yeah of course" Mr Clark looks at her then me I nod getting up I grab her hand and we walk out the classroom.

"And then I felt coldness run through my body just like last year..Mike and it was so uncomfortable it was like I couldn't move like I was stuck like tied down stuck Mike... something taking over making me freeze so I can't move...I hated it so much it's like someone is watching my every move and they won't stop until something happens to me" Maddie cries out.

I hug her as she cries in my chest her arms around my waist "it's okay...no one is gonna hurt you...I promise" I whisper in her ear.

After she calms down we go back into the classroom we walk back to our seats and sits down not even a second later Dustin, Lucas, and Will turn to me "I'll tell you guys after school" I mouth to them so Maddie doesn't hear.

Maddie's POV:

"You guys look like creeps" I tell the guys as they watch Max skateboard "oh and you don't?" Dustin comments sarcastically and continues to watch Max "no I don't because I'm not watching a girl we barely know" I explain "whatever" Lucas says looking at me I look at Will and walk over to him "hey Will" I smile and held his hand.

"Hey Mads" he smiles back "I saw" he blurts out I look at him confused "saw...what?" I question confusion evident in my voice "how you touched your neck...your face going pale" he whispers.

I look down not responding "hey don't worry you don't have to tell me" He says I jump slightly as Dustin shouts "Shit Target Lost!" I look at him confused until I realize they are looking or were looking for Max "I found her" Will tells them.

They run over to the trashcan where Max threw the paper ball Will pulls me along making my hair flow in the wind.

We cover Dustin from some girls as he digs through the trashcan they wave at me but when they pass the boys they give them dirty looks I scoff when they walk away.

"Maddie will end up getting a girlfriend before us all" Lucas says "definitely" Mike and Will agree "maybe" I shrug and turn back as Dustin finds the note "stop spying on me creeps" the boys read out loud "wait there's something else" Mike says he grabs the paper from Dustin and turns it around "besides the sad looking girl holding the boys hand" Mike reads out my face turns red.

"Wait what so not fair!" Lucas shouts kinda is though I think to myself.
