Gosh he's clueless

Mike's POV:

I sigh as I watch Maddie run into the house I walk into the house about to walk up the stairs before Nancy stops me.

"What?" I asked "what's wrong with Maddie?" She asked "her and Lucas got into an argument because he wants to tell this new annoying girl about everything that happened in the upside down and she wants to protect her and I don't know why she wants to but then she said."

"That she has a feeling that El is Alive and that someone is gonna die and someone is gonna end up in the hospital and I'm pretty sure it's because she was in the upside down longer then Will so she has a bigger connection to the things and...I'm scared Nancy like really scared...I don't want anything to happen to her and I don't want her to be one of those people" I cry out as my sister brings me into a hug.

Nancy's POV:

Bring Mike into a hug I sigh and look up at the stairs hearing my brother cry breaks my heart I've only heard him cry two times once when El disappeared and then when the cops found Maddie's and Will's fake dead body's in the query that day he came home crying he wouldn't sleep in his room he would either be in my room or the basement and obviously he never stopped looking for her.

After about another week Hopper and Joyce found Maddie once she got out the hospital Mom has been worried for her she still thinks that Maddie was found in the woods barely alive and Dad he could care less.

But ever since Maddie and Will got found Mike has been protective of them especially Maddie but now I feel like he doesn't want the girl in the group for a reason.

"Mike?" I question he looks at me "yeah" he sniffs "why don't you like the girl...what's her name" I asked "her name is Max and I don't like her because the way she looks at Maddie " he explains I look at him confused.

"So you don't want Maddie to date Max why?" I question "because Nancy she's annoying and I don't want her to date someone annoying plus she might take El's spot" he tells me I chuckle looking at him.

Gosh he's clueless "she won't take El's place El's can do things other people can't and just because she's annoying doesn't mean you have to ha-" I get cut off by the lights going on and off after a second I hear a drop coming from upstairs and the lights stop going on and off.

I look at Mike and stand up him doing the same thing.
