~Your POV~

I was sitting in the dragon stables talking to them in hushed growls and rumbles, vaguely aware of the shouts and grunts coming from the ninja, though Sensi would only hear those we could also hear the furious tapping on a controller.

I didn't play video games much, but it kept the ninja from babying me, so I am all for just letting them do that.

"You're sure you're okay now?" Flame rumbled worriedly.

"Yes, I am fine" I smiled patting Flame's snout.

"Venge stone can still take a toll on a dragons or shifters health." Shard said calmly.

"Guys it's been 3 weeks since that happened!" I shook my head; I didn't mind being babied at first but now it's just ridiculous.

"I still can't wrap my head around the fact that your directly descended from the guardian shifter!" Wisp yelped excited his tail thumping on the ground.

"First of all, what? Second, I heard Wu talk about the guardian shifter once, but I haven't had the time to ask him more about it" I said a little confused.

"Oh! The guardian shifters were wonderful dragons as well as people! They were never secretive about anything, unless it came to the secret between the guardian and the first spinjitzu master, and they led the us through the serpentine war. That is till tragedy struck...." Wisp trailed off his face falling into a dark sullen expression.

"The corruption" I muttered looking down at the stone floor.

"You know about that?" Rocky piped up from his spot lying next to me.

"My dad used to warn me about talking with the corrupted shifters" I said my expression showing I was deep in thought.

"One day I asked why" I stared out at the sunrising from the landing platform entrance.

"He told me he would tell me when I was older" I looked down my fists balling up against my pants.

"Then I made a mistake and now..." I trailed off holding back tears.

Rocky wrapped his tail comfortingly around my fragile body, Flame scooted forward making comforting cooing noises, and Shard and Wisp both had sympathetic looks.

"When you're ready we could tell you" Shard stepped forward putting his icy head against mine.

"Thanks guys" I smiled in gratitude calming down.

Our talk was abruptly cut short when the ninja burst in with panicked expressions, scrambling up onto their respective dragons and flying off. Though Kai was having trouble.

"Can I come?" Nya asked.

"Sorry sis, but where we go danger abounds," He paused for a moment," heh, a little help" he said nervously.

They all launched into the air flying off towards Jamanikai Village. I got up and stood next to Nya, we have grown pretty close within the 3 weeks we have known each other.

"Will they ever reach their full potential?" Nya asked shaking her head.

"In time, maybe a long time, but in time" Wu said and with that walked off.

About 30 minutes later Nya peeked into the room that I shared with her.

"Hey, you want to go to Jamanikai Village? I heard it was a false alarm and I really need to go shopping" Nya said smiling.
