~Lloyds POV~

I woke with a groan because the sun was shining into my eyes. (Y/n) and I chose to set camp out in a forest. Speaking of (y/n), I thought looking down at the beautiful soft and smooth (f/c) scales that were protectively wrapped around me. I could almost fall back asleep with her comfortingly warm body securely wrapped around me, but (y/n) had already lifted her head upon hearing my groan.

"Maybe just five more minutes" I mumbled snuggling into her warm scales.

(Y/n) nudged me with her nose while purring softly.

"Fiiiiiinnne" I complained getting up, "I guess getting revenge on the Hypnobri is better."

(Y/n) let out an unsure growl.

"Let's go I was able to nab the map to the tombs while the slither pit was happening" I said cheerfully taking out the map.

She stopped me with her tail and gave me an unsure look.

"What? I have to get revenge on the Hypnobri and the ninja somehow" I said raising an eyebrow.

She made a series of reluctant growls and mumbles.

"Great we are on the same page, but why are you still shifted into a dragon" I asked curious.

(Y/n) growled softly and gestured down to her burnt talons that had already looked almost all the way better.

"Wait, as a dragon do you wounds heal faster?" I asked, earning a cheerful rumbling. 

"Cool! Let's go!" I smiled.

~Time skip~

We arrived at what looked like a graveyard. (Y/n) had now shifted into a chameleon dragon (see friend or foe for reference), and I was rambling to myself,

"I-it's not scary... m-maybe just a little but I l-like scary, y-yeah that's it! I'm the son of the dark lord! I love the dark, why I eat this stuff for breakfa- AAAAHHH" I screamed causing (y/n) to jump up in front of me protectively.

"J-just a tree" I sighed relieved, (y/n) also relaxed glade there wasn't a real threat.

"I'm going to make the Hypnobri pay for betraying me, so I have to find the Fangpyres. If there is anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake" I continued trying to play it off.

"Here! By the mutated tree! I found it!" I yelped looking down at the symbol on the ground and started to wipe away some dust.

"Soon the serpentine will know who their master is, and it will be I Lloyd Garmadon!" I said triumphantly.

A convenient thunder flashed across the sky scaring me. (Y/n) let out what sound like snickering but not at the same time. She nuzzled her head against my body in attempt to comfort me, which did help.

I smiled at her before pressing the button. There was a moment of silence before snakes started to leap out of the tomb. I turned around to find the general of the Fangpyre behind me.

"And who...and may I say released us... from our captivity" The two heads of the Fangpyre general spoke.

I looked around and panicked not seeing (y/n) anywhere. Before I could say anything, I felt a familiar warm scaly tail wrap gently around my legs. (Y/n) must have camouflaged.

"L-Lloyd, I released you to help me get revenge on the Hypnobri for betraying me" I explained gradually calming down.

"The Hypnobri... those hypnotizing deceivers... it will be... our pleasure" The two Fangpyre heads said back and forth.
