Opening the curtains, Tae saw a little sunshine peeping through the trees. It had been more than 2 days since he had seen any sun. Not that he hated the huge cottage in the middle of snow but he needed his clothes to dry as well.
He had decided to stay for a while with his new family. Also, because Jimin and Jay had pampered him to the extent that he never wanted to go back to his old life. Jimin's boyfriends too were very clingy with Tae. They loved him like they knew him from ages. Jackson too had arrived a day early and as scary as he looked on the magazine covers and TV sets, he was very friendly and a natural charmer.
The only person who still avoided Tae at any cost was his uncle Jeon. But Tae figured that if Jungkook wanted to keep a distance from him then so be it. Its not like he too wanted to be in his company.
One of the servants came to call Tae for the lunch. Since everyone was present home, they decided to eat together in the dining hall. The dining hall resembled some British drama set with paintings on the wall and a large wooden table in the middle of the room.
Jungkook always sat at the center of the table mainly busy answering emails even while eating.
While everyone was planning for an outing Tae sat listening to them in awe. Jimin, Hobi and Yoongi wanted to visit the 'haunted castle' for a night and were convincing everyone to join them.
"Its not actually haunted," Jackson pointed out slurping the soup, "They just made it up for the tourist."
Tae giggled seeing how Jay already looked scared. She kept shaking her head looking at Jackson who kept assuring her that it's not haunted.
"We are going – how about on Wednesday?" Hobi asked excitedly and gazed at Tae's face who nodded his head.
He was already excited.
They kept on discussing the haunted castle trip without noticing that Jungkook had joined the table.
"Why are you all making so much noise?" Jungkook chided and put the spoon in his mouth.
Jimin went on to tell him their plan for Wednesday night.
Jungkook made a disgusted face and put the spoon in the bowl, "Who – who made soup? We never drink soup."
Tae pouted and looked down upset.
Jay cleared her throat and explained that Tae was feeling a bit under the weather due to the dip in temperature.
"We didn't want him to catch a cold," she clarified with a smile on her face, "so we thought we could make soup and - we all can have it too."
Jungkook scoffed and put the spoon down, "Next time - don't serve me soup. I hate it."
Tae glanced at Jimin and Jay and smiled sadly.
Jungkook went on checking his mail and uttered to himself, "Caught cold? Can't even endure a little bit of winter."
