"Ms. Aiah, are you ok?"
Tanong niya na agad ko namang kinainisan.

"Vero, I have question."
Kaba kong saad, jindi ko alam kung tama pa ba ang iniisip ko. "Yes?"

"Do you have girlfriend? And 'yung girlfriend mo ay.. bestfriend ni Dianne?"
Hininto niya ang sasakyan sa may gilid.

"Ex.. Let's not talk about it anymore."

He said that there was sadness and grief. "When did you break up?"

"When I said let's not talk about it, please don't talk about it anymore." Saad niyang muli.

It's like he's hiding something bitter in his heart. "Okay sorry." when I apologize.

"Ysabel is my first love." He answer.

"I thought.. ayaw mo pag usapan."
Ang akala ko talaga nainis na siya sa'kin kanina sa paulit ulit kong tanong sakanya.

"To make you aware." Saad niya. "Ysabel was my first love. She cheated on me."

What? I thought he was a red flag? But he was the one who was cheated. "It hurts for me.. I thought she loved me so much.. but she didn't."

"Is your heart okay? I'm sorry but I hear something on campus.." I said modestly.

"What? That I'm a walking red flag? That I've made many girls cry on campus?" He asked as if annoyed. I nodded to him.

"That's not true.. That's Cyrus." He said again avoiding my eyes. "Sorry, but why are you the one who is doomed?" I said that I was guilty.

I didn't mean to ask that after all he wasn't the walking red flag. But he looks like he's lying because he avoids my eyes from the mirror. I tried to look at his eyes in the mirror but he wouldn't look no matter what I tried to look at.

'Di ko na uli siya tinanong pa. Ayako nang mag sinungaling pa siya. Familliar sa'kin yung Cyrus, naririnig ko rin siya around.

I don't know kung famous din siya sa campus like Vero. 'Di kasi ako masyadong interesado sa mga chismis about school. I only focusing in my study not about chika's or what.

After 2 hours of waiting. Nakarating na rin ako here in Batangas. Dito kasi nag iistay sila mommy galing cebu after nilang mag bakasyon with lola. And after nito ay uuwi na rin sila sa house.

"We're here!" Narinig ko pang sarado ng pinto ni Vero. He was wearing a white polo and black shorts. "Para kang 'di nakauwi ng ilang taon."

He said. Parang nga ehh!

Bahay 'to ni Tita Daine. Dianne's mom.
"Aiah!" Dianne shouted at me.

"Dianne! I miss you!"
Sambit ko at niyakap siya ng mahigpit.

"I miss you too!" She hugged me tightly. "Oh! Vero?" She just nodded at Dianne and turned away again.

"Why are you together?" She whispered to me. "He just drove me."

She frowned and was confused. "Vero. Thank you for bringing my cousin." When Dianne thanked.

"No problem." He treats Dianne coldly. Because Dianne is his Ex's Bestfriend.

"Let's go. Tita has been waiting for you." I smiled and Vero followed behind us.

"Tita!" Tumakbo ako kay tita at niyakap siya. "Hi Aiah, how are you?"

"I'm ok. By the way tita, this is Vero my friend." Pag papakilala ko.

"Hello po." Bati ni Vero na may kasamang ngiti at nag mano.
