Adelyn had been sitting on her bed, letting all her thoughts try to become one as she typed on her laptop rapidly, searching for "funeral homes near me".

Having connections with the mafia and the fbi- albeit not close connections just being stuck in the middle- was never going to be greater than the fear presentation her group was assigned.

She could be at gunpoint but that would not shake her unlike the power point presentation that Blake had, and he had to complete but he was currently in some bloody dungeon in Mason's mansion like house.

Frick, she was going to die, and it was all their fault. The world's fault. The fucking psychotic bloodthirsty hounds that had ruined her past month.

A shiver passed down her spine and her eyes squinted as she tried to read what was written. She couldn't, her migraine had started again and that led to her eyesight weakening.

Getting off her bed, she grabs her eye drops and then closes her eyes, letting them rest for a second as she laid her head against the headboard.

The silence consumes her, but she knew the loneliness in her bedroom would soon enough disappear. The loneliness in her house would stay there.

Eyes were on her constantly now.

~

A soft cold breeze passes, her window silently opening, and a pair of eyes were on her.

She lay there unmoving as though time has paused, not breathing and not ripping her hair in frustration as she was a few minutes ago.

She was a porcelain doll with dark hair, oh how blood would look glorious under her skin.

She was a doll. A doll. Doll.

One shot and she would die, her piercing brown doe eyes would then stare into space forever. Her organs would be gutted out and she could easily be stuffed with toy stuffing, and she would obediently sit in one place then. Never running away and never thinking of anyone else.

But then her voice, oh her melodious voice would be gone, her begging would never be heard again, the tears in her eyes as she would be on her knees pleading for her family's life making her eyes shine would be nonexistent.

She could never die.

But she can play with her little friends for now, that is until the right time to take her away.

Let her live in her fantasy for now, but she would come back to the person she actually loves the most.

The leaves rustle against each other and Adelyn no longer feels eyes on her, her breathing resumes to how it had been normally.
