Adelyn wanted to get out of here as fast as she could, she couldn't stand sitting in the same room as Blake any longer.

Or sit any longer with this stupid airhead; whichever one was more accurate.

Not because of previous events of him making her uncomfortable, no, but because he didn't know how to talk without spitting all over her face.

Was he a dog? Marking his territory? No wonder he was a bitch.

So she just sat there, getting spitted all over her face.

She sat in utmost silence, zoning out from whatever that asshole was saying and contemplating on what she should do. If this was Blythe in her place, what would she have done?

Talk, spitting back on him? or punched him the first time?

See, there wasn't anything wrong with the guy, but Addy got a vibe that made her want to go jump off a cliff, he irritated her, annoyed her. Like you know when some people just breathe and the noise they make is so annoying you want to bash their face in a brick wall again and again till they stop making that noise?

That's how she felt with Blake, she was just too nice to ever let him know that; the subtle hints she let out of frustration weren't enough.

He had the audacity to complain about Blythe's boyfriend when he did all the same things.

The only reason they were together was because of the group project she had, and she wanted out the moment he pulled that stunt of telling her not to talk to Mason at the bar.

She couldn't leave, it was her room, but she could kick him out the window so he could fall and break a bone or two so she wouldn't have to see him for a while.

"Sorry, I got held up with a phone call." Blythe rushes into the room and grabs her bag, shoving all her books inside and then looking at a clueless Adelyn, who visibly deflated, not wanting to be left alone with Blake.

"You're leaving?" She asked, leaving Blake hanging, she suddenly noticed the silence, thank god.

As Blythe was looking around for her pencil case, she let out a snort, "We are," getting up from the ground to look under the bed, she throws a jaw clip on the bed and shoves a notebook in her bag, "did you forget?"

She gives Adelyn a subtle look, widening her eyes.

Oh. Oh.

Adelyn snaps her fingers and guns them pointing at her friend, sparing a quick glance to Blake, "Oh yeah, you needed help with that thing."

"We should wrap things up for today then," She says, "and maybe next time, it might be better if we meet at the library than someone's house."

"Why? Everything's way more reachable at a house than at a café." Blake finally speaks, and Adelyn thinks that he should just put a sock in his mouth cause everything he says is useless.

"Aah, is it cause I told you that?" She asks Blythe, she didn't even know what she way saying, but she knew girl code well enough, she even made a face, scrunching up her face to look believable when telling a lie, "It's cause I feel sleepier when I work at home."

She stands up, letting out a big sigh, and hands on her waist, "How about we do the library tomorrow? It's way more motivational and I love the vending machine there." Adelyn had no reason to act all jolly jolly, with her high pitched 10 year old sunshine girl voice.

But she did. Because she's very socially awkward at times and hates people staring at her when she says something that offends them, so she just fills the gaps in, and with Blake looking at her, he just made her way more nervous and her skin crawled whenever he looked at her.
