After the meeting, 7:56 pm

Adelyn burst into her room. Not at her house, she still wasn't allowed to go there, she was still kept as a hostage at some other place.

She didn't go to her mother or Kai.
She went somewhere she could be alone, but she couldn't be, three little ducks waddled after her and didn't let her be.

So she turned around and glared at all of them, Oh great, two more joined rhe three she already had, looking like they were excited to know what was going on.

"You knew, didn't you?" she pointed at Mason, "You were smiling all smug during the meeting, you knew!"

"I don't make the rules around here" he simply replies.

"Oh but you decide you can boss me around whenever you want? Take my brother away from me because im a horrible sister?" she yells at him, she was losing her voice as she kept on pointing at him.

He stalks towards her threateningly, cornering her against the wall, ignoring Blythe and Noah as they pulled him away, "Listen, I'm only tolerating your screaming becacuse it isn't easy digesting the situation in a day as some random person, but let me make myself clear," he says, "I will throw you to the dogs if I hear you accuse me of shit I haven't done, I don't care about you, I don't care about your brother and I don't care what pity party you're going through, you're still alive because some people care enough for your pitiful life."

She knew who those people were.

Thank the lord, she had never imagined being happy for Blythe and Noah being who they are than she was today.

"Mason!" Blythe yells at him but he ignores her, still glaring at Adelyn, who had stepped back.

She had paused.

She was fearful now.

She was light headed again.

Her phone tings at that exact moment, and she brings it out of her pocket.

It was just a message, on whatsapp, she assumed it was just her father and then it tings again, so she opens it.

Blythe saw the moment Adelyn's face paled, the moment she dropped her phone and started screaming.

"What is it? Adelyn, I can't help you if you don't tell me anything." Blythe rushes to her and Noah grabs her phone from where she had dropped it, looking at what she had seen.

Tears had gathered in her eyes as Blythe comforted her, patting her hair and hugging her while she trembled in fear.

"Fuck." Noah says from above and Blythe looks at him.

"What is it? Who's the message from?"

He had closed the phone, pinching his eyes shut, "It's one of the video recordings...from her bathroom."

Mason snatches the phone and presses the buttons to open it, when it doesn't unlock he squats down in front of Adelyn, "Open it."

"Are you fucking stupid? She's in shock!" Blythe yells at him, Adelyn still shaking in her arms.

"Are you Blythe? Because you seem to be going fucking soft, the faster she opens it, the faster we can track the phone the message came from."

Adelyn stumbles and crawls to him, taking the phone to unlock it and Mason notes down the password, "There." She hands it to him and he looks at her for a second, looking like he was about to say something, hesitating, but then goes against it and walks out, calling the two other guys that had followed in with him.
