The Mac are doing souncheck it's early afternoon just before the dance, Stevie and Christine are goofing off dancing around the stage just having fun with each other during a break. However, fate took an unexpected turn when Christine lost her balance. In an instant, John, handed Lindsey his bass and leapt offstage to reach her. Concern etched on his face, he gently placed a hand on her shoulder and anxiously asked, "Are you okay?"

Amidst the chaos, Christine who was in tears reassured, "my leg hurts from the fall, but I'm okay." John said "maybe we should go to the hospital" Christine replied "no need I'm fine" John, ever the protector, inquired further, "Can you walk?" Christine stood up with John's help and gingerly tested her injured leg and let out a scream of pain and said, "No, it hurts."

John scooped her up into his arms and she began breathing heavy, John knew she had some mild anxiety so he helped her with her breathing to calm her down before he swiftly decided, "I'm taking her to urgent care." Despite the setback, their connection remained evident. In the care facility, John comforted Christine , assuring her, "I'm here for you, anything you need."
Christine was taken for X-rays and brought back to the room, the doctor told her she would be just fine all that happened was she broke her leg nothing that can't be fixed, the two breathed a sigh of relief and Christine joked "looks like I'm not a spring chicken anymore"

Upon returning to the venue, John suggested Christine stay backstage and rest but she had other plans, she told him she wanted to perform and so she did, they got her a long piano bench for her to sit on and rest her leg, for most of the gig that night she was seated at the keyboard so no one knew what had happened at least not yet, however the time came for Christine to play her accordion insistent she play she stood up with John's help grabbed her crutches and John carried the bench over to the center stage and Christine sat down on it as John took the crutches away bringing her her accordion someone from the audience yelled "what happened?" Stevie heard it and assured jokingly, "Christine just has a minor injury. We were goofing off during soundcheck and she got a little too crazy and took a fall" Christine said into her microphone "Stephanie Nicks" Stevie knew she was in trouble and said "what I meant to say was, we were dancing around onstage during soundcheck and she took a hard fall but don't worry she's going to be fine." The crowd sighed in relief, and the band continued their performance. After the gig was over John and Christine rode to the hotel in the same car, once at the hotel John assisted her to her room and asked "are you hungry? I could order room service" Christine said "I'm starving" John said "alright what do you want?" Christine said "I'm actually craving some fish and chips" john laughed and said "anything you want, you got it" and called to place the other for two fish fry's and a side order of fries" he helped Christine get comfortable on the bed and grabbed a pillow fluffing it before placing it under her leg, a bit later the food comes and they sit and eat, after they finish John says "can I get you anything else? Tea? Water?" Christine says "oh tea would be lovely, thank you John, it's over there by the coffee pot, just put a teaspoon of honey in it please" John makes her the tea bringing it to her, she takes a few sips and says "thanks John" John watched as Christine let out a long yawn, a clear sign of her exhaustion after a long and challenging day. He gently took the empty mug from her hands, setting it down on the table.

"You've had quite a day, haven't you?" he said, concern etching his features. Christine nodded, sinking into the bed. The exhaustion radiated from her, amplified by the injury that had left her reliant on crutches.

As she began to talk about her day, John couldn't help but notice the weariness in her voice. Without hesitation, he helped her up and handed her the crutches, offering silent support as she made her way to the bathroom. The door creaked open, and John followed her in.

"Need some help?" he asked, realizing that she might be struggling with her nighttime routine. After a moment of hesitation, Christine nodded, allowing John to assist her. The intimate act of helping her with the routine seemed to strengthen the connection between them
