It was Saturday now, two days since the absolute havoc in the Wynn household. Stephanie was starting to feel much better and was in a lot less pain. Embry was being distant and Stephanie hadn’t talked to her since Thursday. Wolfgang was doing his best caring for Stephanie and juggling his job. Thankfully he had the day off as well and decided to drag Stephanie to his band practice.

“Why do I have to go?” Stephanie complained. She was perfectly fine staying inside for four days in a row. She slowly dragged herself in pursuit of Wolfgang who was carrying his guitar. They were close by and it’s only a couple blocks away but Stephanie was still annoyed

“You need air. Besides, you're feeling better anyway and there are a group of kids your age you can hang out with.” Wolfgang explained to his sister who was still whining.

“Why do I need to interact with people? I get nervous around people.” Stephanie questioned.

“The fact that you asked that is reason enough.” Wolfgang said and grabbed his sister by the arm. “You have nothing to worry about.” He reassured her and continued to drag her towards a garage.

She saw three guys in there. One of the guys was wearing a green polo and he looked out of place from the others who were wearing band t-shirts. They were inside the garage and clearly in the middle of setting up something. There was a girl who was banging on her drums.

“Yo guys! I brought my sister with me today! Kim, do you mind if she hangs out with your siblings and their friends?” He asked the drummer girl.

The girl with curly brown hair and colorful sunglasses stopped drumming for a moment to answer Wolfgang’s question. “Oh hey there kid! Yeah sure, lemme show her the way.” Kim gestured at Stephanie to follow her and she did. They went through a door and went upstairs.

“You seem like a cool little lady. I wish you were my little sister. You seem nice.” Kim said. Stephanie felt heat come onto her face from the complement. “Wolfgang talks about you a lot and he really cares for you Stephanie.” She spoke.

“Uhm Thank you Kim.” She thanked the older woman. Kim went towards a door that said ‘ KNOCK FIRST.’ With baseball pictures all around it and stickers of dinosaurs.

“Hey! Bethany! Marshall! Wolfgang brought his sister and he wants her to play with you guys! She's quite nice!” Kim yelled and banged on the door.

“No way! We don't want to play with a stupid girl!” A voice screamed back at them. ‘Ouch well that hurts but that's how boys are.. Wait, isn't Bethany a girl's name?’ Stephanie thought to herself.

“She is right next to me you idiots! Do you want me to tell Dad about you two being rude to a guest?!” Kim threatened her little siblings. Stephanie heard a door unlock and it opened slightly. A girl wearing a backwards cap peeked her head in the crack. “ Fine, let her in, don't tell dad.” She told them and allowed Stephanie to enter.

“Okay be good now and don't get into any trouble!” Kim yelled and returned to the garage. “Don’t think about hooking up with anyone here. All the guys here are like my brothers besides my actual twin brother.” She threatened before going towards the others.

Stephanie recognized everyone there from her classes. They were dubbed ‘The loser club.’ Everyone somewhere had outcasts and in Clint ville these were them. Stephanie was by no means popular but she wasn't exactly a loser either. She just wanted to get through school so she could go home and fall asleep.

They all stared at her. She felt awkward to say the least. “Excuse us for a moment Stephanie.” The boy with braces and messy hair said.

“Are you kidding me Stephanie Wynn? She's one of the prettiest girls in our grade. She's like a dream girl. A girl from a dream.” Marshall with a cast on his arm whispered to them.
