Let me tell you a story.
A young girl once ran through the fields by her house
Laughing as her siblings chased her
Never once did they let her feeling of joy waver
Not willing to see her fall into a place they can not wander. But as the years fell past
The siblings had distanced themselves
And though they always told her they loved her
The feeling never sells.
But she had refused to let her brain trick her
And repeated that it was nothing but slander.A few more years pass
And the girl admires her brother for his maths
She wonders how he does it
For she can never do it.
He helps her with the equations
And in these moments her joy strengthens. But now in year 11
She has fallen into the trap of depression
Unable to help her,
they watch heartbroken.
As we see the joy of life slip away
The sunshine ray
Weakened in pain
And the siblings watch in vain
As the girls energy weakens by the day
And to the girls dismay
They blame themselves
For her Joy slipping away.By Lizzie
