And the next few hours become a haze for Jisoo. The entire family is out shopping for their rushed wedding. Taehyung kept glancing over at Jisoo, he likes seeing her being nervous, like a true bride

They try a few dresses on Jisoo but one in particular steals all the attention. Jisoo doesn't put much of an opinion forward, she just agrees to what everyone says. Grandma is also there, monitoring her face closely, wondering what choice she'll make. but time is short, Jisoo needs to think fast.

All of them are done with their shopping when Lisa says

"Ohh Jisoo needs to stay with us in the hotel today, away from you brother"

"Wait, what? WHY?" Taehyung says being confused

"That's because you can't look at the bride-to-be before the wedding, it's auspicious. Moreover, we need to get our makeup done and everything early in the morning. SO leave her with me from here onwards" she says

"oh come on, she can just join you tomorrow" Taehyung says not wanting to part with Jisoo

"Hold your horses loverboy. We are taking her with us" she says

Taehyung hugs Jisoo as everyone gives them privacy and gets inside their respective car.

"Just a few hours and we'll start our new lives together" he says

Jisoo looks at him with teary eyes "Together?" she asks

"Together" He affirms and leads Jisoo on to Lisa's car

"I miss you and am so excited to see you tomorrw, as my bride" he says

Jisoo waves him goodbye and gets in the car.

That night Jisoo gets texts from Taehyung expressing his excitement, his content. Jisoo doesn't reply, she vacantly stares at his texts. She then puts her phone down and closes her eyes.

She has finally reached a conclusion and the choice has been made in her mind. She tries falling asleep but the ache in her heart is far too much to put her body to rest

"She's just nervous" Taehyung says to himself again and again after Jisoo didn't reply to his texts. He knows something isn't right with her but then again, he popped the question of getting married in a day and it must've been overwhelming for her

"Yes, she's only nervous" he says again and falls deep into sleep knowing that tomorrow he'll claim her to be his forever

Jisoo gets up early the next day at the knock on her door. She rubs her eyes and opens it up. It's Lisa with a few other women, all carrying heavy suitcases

"Come on, bride. Time to get ready" she says

Jisoo can still feel the stinging pain in her chest as she dreads the fact that today is finally here. She fakes a smile and washes up to get her makeup done.

It takes them a good 5 hours to finish with her look. By the time they are done, it is almost noon. jisoo feels as if time is going really fast, everything is falling out of place, out of her control

"Take a look" the makeup artist says and Jisoo finally stands up and glances at the mirror.

Lisa who was getting ready by her side gasps audibly at how ethereal Jisoo is looking. The dress hugging her body in all the right places, the white colour against her pale skin shining as brightly as ever, the long veil towering over her head completing the entire look. She looks like a bride, a beautiful bride, the type she always wanted to be and today while looking at the mirror she feels as if all her desires have come true. She is finally getting married, to the love of her life, finally, she is a bride. She is THE BRIDE
