Jisoo wakes up the next day to a knock on her door
She rubs her eyes and looks around, there is not trace of Taehyung. He didn't come at all last sign
She feels a bit relieved and checks her phone

The knocking intensifies making her get up from the bed quickly and head for the door
"Miss Jisoo, here is your suitcase. And this is your uniform for the day. You are assigned as a server in the banquet. Call time is at 7. Don't be late. We have a lot to do today" a staff member says as soon as Jisoo opens the door
Jisoo is still so sleepy that she can barely process what just happened. She takes her suitacase and her uniform and shuts the door
She feels hollow inside looking around. Her life has changed courses multiple times over the past week and here she is, in a stranger's bedroon away from the person she wants to be with
*** Jisoo is standing is a queue where all the servers are standing for a briefing from the manager. There is going to be quite a big event in the banquet today judging by the looks of it
"A lot of reputed people across the country are going to be coming today. It is the 11th anniversary of our hotel and this is an event with major news coverage. Not a single mistake will be spared today. Your job is to serve wine and food to the guests. Always maintain a smile on your face and do your job tediously. Let's do well guys" the manager says
*** In the driveway, luxurious private cars swarm in one after another, guests come out wearing their best chiffon and silk while posing for a picture or two in front of the sea of cameras. It looks more like a fashion event and less like an anniversary party.
As Jisoo is doing her job in the food stand, she sees people entering the banquet and is mesmerized by their outfits. All are well coordinated, well thought of and elegant outfits.
Some server beside her says "That must've cost thousands. I would never spend that much on a piece of clothing"
Jisoo mutters to herself "Summer collection 1989, vintage silk. Oh, I would give up everything to wear that for a day"
"Huh?!" the server asks
Jisoo immediately snaps out of her daydream "nothing" she says
Irene walks through the door wearing Zuhair Murad. Jisoo was wiping the plates when she notices her. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Irene's dress is one of the most beautiful pieces Jisoo has ever seen
