Alastor walked around the hotel as always. He had his usual wide grin on his face. It was strange how it never faltered, even when he was upset or angry or injured. But if he had to say the truth, he was indeed as worried as Charlie was. Charlie was sitting near the bar, talking to Vaggie. "What if something bad has happened to him?" Charlie asked her girlfriend. Even Husk seemed a little bothered by Angel's disappearance.

Niffty was sitting near them, nervously eyeing the two as the conversation went on. She was afraid of what might have happened to Angel. Even Sir Pentious seemed nervous. "We should contact his friends." Husk suggested.

"I do not understand, the issue, my dears. It's not the first time, he has disappeared like this." Alastor objected, appearing next to them all. "Yes, but the longest he has been gone was three days. It's been nearly two weeks now." Charlie said. Alastor was worried as well but he wasn't going to let them see.

"Even Cherri was clueless when I called her." Vaggie said. "I will call his other friends." Charlie said, standing up and leaving for her office. Vaggie followed her. "Where do you think he could be?" Sir Pentious asked, Niffty. "He wasn't at the studios when Charlie went to check." Niffty said. "Val could've easily lied. And knowing the princess, she would have believed his pretty lies." Husk said in his grumpy voice.

Alastor thought for a moment. It did make sense if Val was lying. But Alastor had already sent his shadows over the studio and there was no sign of Angel. Alastor turned back into shadows and went to his room. His smile faltered a bit as his brow furrowed in worry.

It was true, the spider demon was quite annoying. For hell's sake, Alastor wanted to tear his soul apart the moment they met. The way he was always flirting and always pushing the boudaries of everyone at the hotel. But there seemed to be more to him. The way, he adored his pet pig. The way he was kind to children and didn't act inappropriately around them. They way he was always there for his friends.

Alastor remembered the first time he found out that Angel liked to hide behind a mask. He puts on a smile and acts a certain way just so he doesn't have to face the sick and twisted reality he was stuck in. Angel was brave. And Alastor soon found himself intrigued by the arachnid. Angel still ticked him off, yes. But now everytime he was not around, Alastor missed the effeminate demon's flirty remarks and sassy nature.

Alastor would never admit it but he missed Angel Dust. The environment was calm. But the silence was stinging Alastor. He banged his hands on the table in frustration. It was highly unlike his shadows to not be able to find someone. His nails dug into the table as he angrily let out a low growl.
