Meera often spoke about how overjoyed she'd be to have a wild beast as a pet. She said that in her dreams she was born a Targaryen and would fly dragons as if she was born to it. She also said she dreamt of being a Baratheon princess with a stag that would follow her around like her protector.

But now that i have introduced her to Raven, she seemed indifferent. "Does he bite?" she asked keeping her distance from myself and Raven. "I'm training him, but so far he has not. Do you want him too?" i teased.

"No!" she exclaimed not understanding my joke. Meera was my closest friend since i was one and ten. She found me crying one day after my father had chastised me in-front of his banner men. The scolding was my fault. I tried to push Theon off his horse after he told a farmers boy i wanted to marry him.

She comforted me and told me all of the horrid things her brothers do to irritate her. She made me feel grateful for my own brothers. They wouldn't dare to tease me. My father would curse them for it. And she has stood by my side since.

"I swear to you Meera, he is harmless" i said picking the cub up. He had grown quickly. More quick than my siblings pups. Jory suggested he knew i would need protection so the gods grew him twice and tall, twice and quick.

"My father said he saw your bastard brothers wolf growl at my brothers when they were training. They don't seem harmless" Meera said with her nose scrunched. I wanted to smack those words out of her mouth. "Well, Raven is not Jons wolf. He is kinder. And your father does not know all."

I had decided to call my wolf cub Raven. When i returned home from the Godswood and told Jon all my troubles concerning the raven from Kingslanding, he tried to cheer me up by suggesting that my problem was a great name for the dark wolf. I agreed.

"Wont you atleast try and pet him?" i suggested. Meera slowly laid her hands on Ravens soft fur as she finally let her guard down. "He is soft, isn't he?" she said with glee. We both chuckled as Raven squirmed with excitement from all this attention.

"Sara!" someone called out causing me and Meera to quiet down. We both looked around but saw no one. "Sara!" the child's voice shouted again. It was only then we both looked up and saw my younger brother Brann on the roof of the castle.

It wasn't unusual to find him there. "The king and queen! I see their carriages. They're coming through the gates now!" he exclaimed with excitement. My smile faded as i handed Raven to Meera.

My mother had spent hours on my hair so i looked "presentable" for the king and queen. She also made my wear my finest dress. Not as fine as the queens gowns i presume, but decent for the North. It was originally blue but Sansa has sewn small, red flowers into the material. I would be lying if i said i did not feel like a royal myself. "Well hurry down then and don't let mother see you!" i exclaimed.

Brann just smirked and ran out of sight. I tried to put on a brave face as Meera looked sorrowful. "They can not take you away. If anyone is going to be married, it should be me first" she joked trying to life my spirits. It worked slightly.

"Just take Raven to my rooms and if you see Jaime Lannister, tell your brothers to shove a sword in his back" i teased back. A distasteful joke, but one we both found amusing. I rushed to the yard to find my family all lined up, except for one.

Arya.

I stood beside Robb and Sansa looking around for Jon. He was stood with the Steward men. It would be unbecoming to have a bastard meet the king and queen i guess. Stupid rule. "Where is Arya? Sansa, where is your sister?" my mother questioned sharply. Sansa simply shrugged. She then looked to me. "I don't know" i whispered.

It was hard to miss the sound of horses trotting and the carriages trudging inside the walls. I fixed my dress stood tall as i watched them march in. Suddenly, Arya came sprinting towards us with a helmet covering her eyes.
