JANKI'S POV
And I felt as if my nightmare was standing infront of me.
It won't be wrong to say that right! Because every fear, every event, every second of that day flashed right infront of my eyes.
And I wasn't afraid won't be an understatement but more then that I was afraid due to the man who broke things outside the room and who hurt himself so brutal on hand.
For the first time in all these months I saw Raghav this dangerous.
Raghav has always, always maintained his patience in front of me. But today, his patience swept away and I was afraid.
Afraid to see his eyes getting so red with anger and him not even feeling the pain that the hand was causing. It was as if this was his regular work to get hurt.
"What are you thinking Sunshine" He asked
"Have you killed anyone before Raghav" I questioned and he looked at me.
"Would that change anything between you and me" He questioned back
"If you've killed any innocent, it would." I cleared
"I've killed people who anyhow would've got death sentence if their whole portfolio was showcased in front of court. But who are we again talking about. The Court of this country can give life imprisonment with bails , not death. So yes, I've killed People, but those who deserved to die" He replied with his eyes boring into mine.
And as he said minutes ago, if you don't think you're wrong, keep your head high.
"And who according to you deserve death sentence" I asked
"Someone who messed up with me and then if I find same person as good as shit due to every crime they've done till date. When I'm sure that if that person, if presented infront of court, they'll be for sure given life imprisonment atleast" He replied and I took a deep breath.
"Gun, shall we" He asked and I nodded.
The next hour went by him telling me how to unlock the gun , load the gun and run a gun.
"So, I'm keeping a gun now" I asked
"Your gun will come tomorrow morning. It'll be licenced don't worry" He assured
"I'm sleepy" I mumbled as I laid down on bed but I would lie if I would say that I was at peace.
Because I wasn't.
Because I had my biggest fear at my own home and I wasn't afraid would be a lie.
"Sleep Sunshine. I won't let anything happen to you until I'm alive" He whispered pulling me in his embrace and I sighed as these words assured me.
His hands grazed my hairs softly and despite everything, I fell asleep.
I woke up next day when I fell someone tracing patterns on my stomach and I turned my side smiling.
The touch which I can even recognize in sleep.
"Are we teasing now" His voice mumbled in my ears as he kissed there and I squirmed.
"You're the one teasing" I groggily replied when I felt his hand on waist band of my shorts and I opened my eyes looking at him.
As his hand was moving down, I held his wrist.
"As much as I would love this but we've more problems to deal with" I muttered and he frowned.
"Why don't anyone let me live in peace" He mumbled and I looked at him with a small smile.
