My Sunshine

JANKI'S POV

"Okay, that's where we're hiding the pain" I spoke as I moved the left hand of the patient in front of me.

He smiled with his toothy grin and I chuckled.

"Will it be fine" His mother asked concerned and I looked at her with a faint smile.

"So, Akshit , how about you rest here for a while and drink this yummy milkshake while I have a little chit chat with your mom" I asked and he looked at me.

"Will I not be fine" He questioned his eyes demanding an answer.

"You want to fine" I asked and the eight year kid nodded his head.

"Then you'll be champ" I replied and then looked at my assistant to be with him.

I went to my cabin followed by his mother Mrs. Verma.

"Please have a seat Mrs. Verma" I said and she nodded as she took the chair in front of me.

"I won't lie. The case is critical." I spoke and she looked at me concerned

"But I won't lie that 7% in this world have beaten this type of nerve damages" I added and she sighed.

"Akshit is a child who is willing Mrs. Verma. I won't let him loose his will power. We'll make the hand work" I determined

"I'm ready to do anything doctor. My kid is my life. Please" She whispered as a tear left her eye.

"I'll try my best. It's all of will power and Rest prayers" I told and then after a while taking case history and discussing the treatment, she left.

After a while my phone buzzed and I looked at the caller id.

A small smile spread over my face and I picked up the call.

"Hey wife" His hoarse voice came

"Rana sa, are you alright" I asked concerned

"Mhm. Just woke up" He replied

"When are you coming back Raghav" I frowned and he sighed.

"As soon as the global meet is over. I miss you Love. " He mumbled and I looked at the reports on my table.

Three years. It's been three years to our wedding. Three crazy years of us as husband and wife. And three down as Raghav everyday making me feel like the woman who has won the world.

Indeed I won the world because He, our family is my world.

"Sunshine" He spoke and the trail of my thoughts broke.

"Come soon Raghav. We're waiting for you" I spoke as my hand travelled to my belly with a small smile.

"We? " He asked

"Family. Everyone" I replied and he hummed.

"I'll wrap this up today anyhow" He told

"I Love You" I sang and he chuckled.

"I Love You" He said and cut the call.

I looked at the reports again and taking them out, I smiled as I read the results again.

Positive.

Raghav went Dubai a week ago. And since past three days I wasn't feeling well. Somehow my instincts told me that it's not regular not feeling well situation. Taking a pregnancy test at home, when I found two lines on the kit, it was like my happiness had no bound.

But I wanted to be very sure so yesterday, when I came to Hospital, I went through the test and today having reports in my hand all I wanted was him near me right now.
