Later that night, at dinner, Isabel was reading through her journal, trying to figure how to make the machine work properly. While she was doing that, Elena was talking to the rest of the family about the banquet, a little nervous it might not turn out alright. Luisa told her that the banquet will go fine and she shouldn't worry so much. She then notices Isa looking deeply in her notes and that she hasn't touched her food. "Uh Isa, is there something bothering you?" Luisa said to her granddaughter, "something you might want to share with the whole family.

Isabel then explained to her family about the Exposition and that she needed to showcase her invention tomorrow so she could get in. "That sounds amazing Isabel." Fransico said. "I know, but my intention isn't working right," Isabel said. "I need to find out how to make it work properly before the guy comes." "I'm so proud of you Isa." Elena said to her sister, "You know if I have time before the banquet tomorrow I could help..." but before Elena could finish, Isabel interpreted her saying "I'm fine. I don't need your help, I have Tomiko helping me. Besides, I think you'll be very busy doing your big banquet." Isabel then got up from the dinner table and left.

A bit later, Elena was in her room getting ready for bed when Isabel came in and asked her if she wanted to talk to her alone. Elena asks what is wrong. "Oh nothing, I just want to apologize for saying that I didn't need your help with the invention," Isa said, "what I meant to said is that I want my invention to be perfect and I think the only way it needs to be perfect is for when people who know what they are doing is working on it." "What does that mean?" Elena asks her sister. "I'm just saying that I don't want you helping me and Tomiko work on the invention because, well..." but before Isabel can finish her sentence, Elena interrupted her. "Because I'm not as smart as you?"

"Well no. Maybe. Yes" Isabel said. "Don't get me wrong, you are a great sister, with a good life, but you're not that good at science." "Okay then, I have to go to bed." Elena said. Isabel agreed with her and was about to leave when Elena said this, "It must be lucky for you to have an easy life." Isa froze when she heard that and turned around. "What does that mean?" She asked. "Oh, l was just saying that your life must be easy, that I wonder what it's like to be you?" Elena said.

"You think my life is easy," Isa said, "well here's a little run down of what I have tomorrow. Not only do I have to finish my invention tomorrow but I also have school tomorrow, so in any way I think your life is easier than mine." "You think my life is easier," Elena said, "I have grand council meetings and other responsibilities that I have to do to prepare myself to become a good ruler." "Sounds simple enough to me. I feel like I can handle doing all that." Isabel said. "If you feel like you can handle all that, then I feel like I can handle all the stuff you do, but much easier." Elena said. "It would be nice to spend a day in your shoes." Both sisters said at the same time.

Just then the room began to shake. "What's going on?!" Isabel shouted. "I don't know?!" Elena said. Isa ran to her sister and held on tightly to her as the room began to shake and then it stopped. "What was that?" Isabel asks. "I don't know?" Elena asks. "I hope everyone in the palace is alright." Just then, Armando came in to give Elena a list of more things for the banquet tomorrow. Elena asked him about if he felt the palace shake and he was confused saying that the palace didn't shake and then he left.

"Whatever that was," Elena said, let's hope it doesn't happen again." "Right." Isabel said, then she yawned. She told Elena they better get some sleep if they want to get ready for tomorrow. Elena agreed and they both said good night and Isa left Elena's room and went back to her own room and Elena headed to her bed to go to sleep. Later at Midnight, the eyes of the idol that Mateo gave Elena earlier began to glow light blue for a few seconds and then stop.
