Epilogue: A Surprise at The Exposition

A week after Isabel got the letter from the Exposition, Isabel arrived at the place the Exposition would be held, a big castle. She arrived on a boat with her invention in a little cart and covered upm. With her was Tomiko, Esteban (there to watch over Isa), Gabe, Mingo, Zoom, and Estrella (they were there to support Isabel), and Skylar (who was there to watch Mingo, Zoom, and Estrella).

"I'm so excited that we're here." Isabel said. "I know right." Tomiko said. "I can't wait to show off my invention showing the whole realm that I'm the greatest young inventor." Isa said. "Yeah. Though I wish your sister was here to cheer me on. Oh, and cheer you on too." Tomiko said. "I know, but she said she'll be here later." Isabel said. "Are we there yet? I want to explore!" Mingo said. "Us too!" Zoom and Estrella said. "Not on my watch, little ones." Skyler said. "Your daddy said you guys can come along only if I watch you three." "Okay Uncle Skylar." The three jaquins said.

Once the boat arrives at port, Isabel asks Gabe to help move her invention. The gang went in and was greeted by Simon, the man who checked out Isabel's invention the week earlier. He welcomed them and said he'll take them to their tent. He led them to the courtyard where five tents were set up, one for every inventor. Simon led the gang to their tent and explained to Isa that she will meet with the other four young inventors soon, along with Benedict Gomez, who will explain more about the exposition to them. Esteban asked Simon if he could meet Benedict now, wanting to know what he is like. Simon said he'll ask him and then left to ask, with Esteban and Gabe tagging along, with Esteban saying to Isa and Tomiko not to leave the tent until they are asked too.

"I guess we should set up now." Tomiko said. "We should." Isabel said and they began to set up the invention while Skylar took a nap. Once they finished setting up, they heard a weird noise coming from the other tents. "I guess that must be the other kids. I wonder what they made?" Isabel said. "I don't know, but whatever those guys made, I'm sure it's not as great as the Diamond-Izer." Tomiko said. "Yeah, you're right now let's test this thing." Isa said. They headed over towards the machine and then they heard a strange chittering sound nearby.  The two looked around and noticed the sound was coming from inside a small box that was moving around.

"There is something in that box! What do you think is inside?" Tomiko said, being a little scared. "It could be one of the jaquins inside." Isabel said. "Inside what?" Zoom said as he and his siblings approached the two with the box still moving around. Wondering what could be inside, Isa approaches the box and lifts the box up to reveal a raccoon.

"Oh it's just a raccoon. I'm guessing he came by looking for something to eat." Tomiko said. "We better get back to work. Right, Isa?" But Isa wasn't listening to her. This raccoon was very familiar. "No. It can't be." She said as she picked up the raccoon. "Rudiger?" She said, "But if you're here then that means." Just then a voice was shouted out from behind her. "Rudiger! Get back here! Sorry about him. I don't know what got over him..." Isabel turned around and was shocked to see who it was. "Varian?" She said. "Isabel?" Varian said.
