Chapter 7: A Night of Discomfort
In the heart of the underworld castle, Jungkook issued a decree to his guards: treat Yn as their queen. Although they weren't yet married, Jungkook wanted to ensure that Yn felt respected and revered within his domain. The guards, loyal to their king, readily complied, bowing deeply whenever Yn passed by and addressing her with utmost deference.
As the guards dispersed to carry out their orders, Yn found herself escorted to her lavish quarters, a testament to Jungkook's desire to make her feel at home in his domain.
Yn's room was a paradox of beauty, blending the heavenly and the infernal, the aquatic and the terrestrial. The walls were made of white marble, adorned with intricate carvings of angels and demons, sirens and devils. The ceiling was a dome of glass, revealing the starry sky above and the fiery pits below. The floor was covered with soft carpets, woven with patterns of waves and flames. The furniture was elegant and luxurious, fit for a queen. A large bed with silk sheets and velvet pillows dominated the center of the room, surrounded by a canopy of pearls and rubies. A fireplace crackled in the corner, casting a warm glow over the room. A vanity table with a large mirror and various cosmetics stood next to a closet filled with exquisite dresses and accessories. A bookshelf with rare and ancient volumes lined one wall, while a painting of a serene ocean scene hung on another. A balcony with a wrought-iron railing offered a breathtaking view of the castle grounds and the surrounding landscape. Yn's room was a masterpiece of design, a reflection of her unique and captivating nature. and her room was specially designed for her by Jungkook so it will fulfill her every need.As the moon ascended the darkened sky, its silvery beams cast an ethereal glow over the grand halls of the underworld castle. Yn stood in her opulent room, her heart heavy with apprehension as she awaited Jungkook's arrival for their dinner date.
A soft knock echoed through the chamber, signaling Jungkook's presence. Yn took a deep breath, steeling herself for the evening ahead, and opened the door to find him standing there, a charming smile adorning his features.
"Good evening, my dear Yn," Jungkook greeted, his voice smooth as velvet. "I hope you're ready for a night to remember."
Yn forced a polite smile, her unease growing with each passing moment. "Yes, Jungkook, I'm ready," she replied, her voice tinged with apprehension.
Jungkook led her through the labyrinthine corridors of the castle, his arm outstretched in a gesture of chivalry. They entered the grand dining hall, where a lavish feast awaited them—delicious food and fine wines laid out on the table in a display of decadence.
Jungkook took his seat at the head of the table, gesturing for Yn to join him. "Please, my dear, indulge yourself," he said, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Yn hesitated, her gaze flitting nervously around the room. She felt suffocated by the opulence surrounding her, the weight of Jungkook's expectations pressing down on her like a leaden cloak.
As Jungkook regaled her with tales of his kingdom, Yn found herself growing increasingly uncomfortable. His words felt hollow, his laughter forced, and his attempts at affection left her feeling cold and unsettled.
She watched as Jungkook proudly showed off his possessions—his jewels, his treasures, his kingdom—all the while oblivious to her growing discomfort.
But it was his ignorance and arrogance that grated on her nerves the most. His casual insults and mocking remarks about other beings and cultures struck a nerve with Yn, reminding her of the artificiality and monotony of the devil world.
She realized with a sinking heart that Jungkook didn't truly care about her opinions or feelings. To him, she was nothing more than a trophy—a prize to be won and displayed for his own amusement.
As the evening wore on, Jungkook's attempts at intimacy became more forceful, his kisses demanding and insistent. Yn recoiled from his touch, her skin crawling with revulsion.
In a moment of desperation, she pushed him away, her voice trembling with anger. "Enough, Jungkook," she said, her tone laced with venom. "I will not be treated as your plaything any longer."
With that, Yn stormed from the dining hall, leaving Jungkook alone with his thought, Yn knew she had shattered whatever illusion of love he had harbored. And as he watched her retreating form, deep down, she couldn't help but wonder: Did he truly love her, or was she just another conquest in his quest for power and control?
To be continue...
