Chapter 11: The secrets unfold

"Star? STAR HELLO STARGAZER?" A voice whispered loudly into her ear. She groaned as she sat up in the cot. "Whaaat?.." She murmured sleepily. The blurry shape of a dragon stood in front of her. As her vision became more clear, she saw Skyfire. "Skyfire?," She yawned softly, "Is something happening?" Stargazer looked around the room. Oh yeah. The infirmary. She looked over at the cot next to her's, and saw Qibli laying there. He was breathing, but not awake. Skyfire must've noticed that she was looking at Qibli, because she said: "Oh yeah. Qibli might not wake up for a while." Stargazer's eyes widened. "You mean he's only unconscious for now right? He's.. He's not in a coma right? RIGHT?!..." Stargazer didn't know what was happening. "He's NOT in a coma. He's most likely to wake up tomorrow." Skyfire reassured her. Stargazer sighed in relief. "Thank three moons." She breathed out.

"Winter hasn't visited much though. He spends most of his time with Moon." Skyfire frowned. Stargazer got off the cot. She realized there were multiple bandages covering her. "Then let's go find this Icewing prince then." Stargazer said before walking out of the room. Skyfire followed her. "Do you know where Winter would most likely be?" Stargazer questioned. "I think I last saw him in Moon's room." Skyfire responded. Stargazer nodded. "Lead the way then!" She said, ushering Skyfire in front of her. Skyfire led them to a room in a hallway. Stargazer never really had to knock when she lived in the rainforest, so why should she now? She barged in and..

"THE HECK?!" She yelled. Skyfire came charging in next to her. "WHAT THE FREAKING HECK?!" Skyfire cried. They probably shouldn't have walked in during that time. They walked into Winter and Moon, AHEM, SMOOSHING! Moon hid behind Winter. "Why didn't you guys KNOCK?!" He yelled at them. "WHY ARE YOU SMOOSHING A DRAGON YOU MET, LIKE, ONE DAY AGO?!" Stargazer yelled back at him. "WHY CAN'T I?!" He retorted. "CUZ IT IS PRETTY MUCH WRONG! DOES SHE EVEN WANT YOU, OUT OF ALL DRAGONS, TO SMOOSH HER?!" Stargazer argued. "WHAT DOES SMOOTHING EVEN MEAN?!" This argument will probably go on for a while.

(TIME SKIP! 20 minutes later...)

Stargazer and Skyfire walked out of Moon's room. The Nightwing dragonet was boiling with pure rage at this point. "Star, calm down." Skyfire said. Stargazer didn't want to yell at Skyfire, so she breathed in and out for a few moments. "Fine." Was all she said before walking back towards the infirmary, probably to check on Qibli. Stargazer seemed to calm down more on the way. (Skip to when they reach the infirmary) Stargazer walked in. A nurse was standing by Qibli's cot, and, to Stargazer's surprise, Qibli was awake! "Qibli!" Stargazer cried happily, as she ran over to Qibli's cot. "Hey Stargazer." Qibli said calmly. Skyfire came up to Qibli's cot too. He smiled at the sight of them.

"He woke up earlier than we expected." The nurse said. "Who cares? I'm just happy he's awake right now!" Stargazer replied. Skyfire nodded. Then it hit her. What do we tell Qibli about the whole situation? Do we tell him? Should we keep it a secret? ARGHH! Why does life have to be like this? Stargazer didn't say anything about it for now. They talked for a while until they felt a new presence enter the room. Winter. Stargazer's mind hissed. She turned around and saw Winter and Moon by the door. Moon had a hateful expression towards them. Stargazer put her bandaged talon over Qibli's eyes before he could see them. "Get. Out." Skyfire quietly hissed at them. "I deserve to be able to see Qibli too." Winter said, shoving Skyfire away. He walked over to Qibli's cot. And fate decided to be EXTREMELY unhelpful. The nurse walked in. "I'm sorry, but your visit is now done. You can come back tomorrow." The nurse dragon shoved them out of the room and slammed the door in their faces.

"RUDE MUCH!" Stargazer and Skyfire yelled at the same time. They walked through the corridor to the room they shared. Stargazer had no idea what Winter was telling Qibli right now. She didn't want to think about it. She opened the door to their room, and flopped onto the bed. She heard Skyfire close the door and lie down on her bed. "It'll be alright. Just get some rest." The copper dragon said. Stargazer couldn't deny that she was VERY tired now. She almost fell asleep immediately. It took a few moments before she actually fell asleep though.
